About this listing
This cosy modern ground floor apartment is located on the quiet leafy Veres Pálné utca in the old centre of Budapest, right beside the historical ELTE university building on Egytem tér. The narrow surrounding streets are filled with cafes, bars and restaurants to suit any taste and the restaurant-laiden Ráday utca is a five-minute walk away.
It is with easy walking distance of sites such as the Main Market hall ("Nagycsarnok"), a huge indoor market, which offers a colourful mix of fresh fruit, vegetables, spices, wine, meat and traditional Hungarian gifts and hot food on the upper level. The Hungarian National Museum is housed in an impressive classical building and provides a chronological tour through Hungarian history. Parallel to Veres Pálné utca is the main shopping street of Vaci utca and crossing this brings you to the Danuube embankment.
The stylishly designed apartment has all the amenities you would expect: wifi, full kitchen, washer/dryer, dining table, leather couch and a spacious double bed.
The closest metro stations are Ferenciek tere (M3, blue line) and Kalvin ter (M3, blue line).
Please keep noise levels down after 22:00.
While there is strictly no smoking allowed in the apartment, there is a covered hall at the building entrance where guests can smoke.
There are house wheelie bins in the entrance coridor if you'd like to remove excess rubbish from the apartment.
