THIS IS ONE OF 4 BEDROOMS.
My own bedroom with very comfy king size bed. Very convenient location, just 10mins to city centre and local shops a plenty. House is homely +offers Welsh hospitality and local guidance. Cardiff suits all budgets and ages.
This is actually my own bedroom that I give up when demand calls and the other 3 bedrooms are already booked. Please do NOT make this bedroom your 1st choice. NO monthly stays.
It has a very comfy king size bed where you can watch TV, have a good night's sleep and relax with a morning tea/coffee. Room consists of a bedside lamp, wooden floors, curtains+blinds, hair dryer and wi-fi access.
Please be aware that you will NOT have access to storage, I can provide hangers for you to hang up clothes. The room will contain my possessions, however, you will have plenty of living space. This upstairs bedroom looks onto the street. You take as you find!
Towels and clean linens are provided.
Tea, coffee and juice is free to guests during their short term stay.
Guests can enjoy a breakfast of your choice, a full hot Welsh breakfast, continental, toast+jam - please ask when booking as cost differs.
There is a kitchen/diner, that guests can use, utilities room with washing machine and dishwasher, a downstairs bathroom with shower+toilet, a garden, wireless and free street parking.
A second bathroom is upstairs:- wet room with sink+toilet.
There are 3 other bedrooms that I have listed, so there is a possibility that there will be other guests staying. I will inform you, if this is the case.
The house is situated just a 10mins bus ride/drive to the city centre. Local shops are 5mins walk away on Splott Rd, where you will also find bakeries, cashpoints, 2 fantastic cafe's, grocery stores, Post Office, library and Leisure Centre.
You will love Cardiff city centre, it's flat, easy to walk around, full of great shops, Victorian arcades, a Millennium Stadium smack bang in the centre, lots of cheap to expensive eateries, beautiful parks by the river, plenty of pubs, bars, nightclubs, Cardiff Bay in all it's glory, St Fagans Museum of Welsh National History, Cardiff Castle to name just a few things to see and do....
Communal areas: kitchen, bathrooms and garden and free wi-fi.
Use of the washing machine is upon agreement. Clothes are dried outside on a washing line.
You will receive keys to the bedroom+front door, loss of keys incurs a £40 charge.
As this is a terraced house, there is no side entrance access or no garage.
Unfortunately I cannot store bikes in the house.
However, there is free street parking.
Interaction with guests
I like to be available with advice either online or in person, providing maps, A-Z, local travel timetables, local knowledge and brochures.
I like to offer a good breakfast, whether it's cereal and toast or a hearty hot Welsh breakfast.
Always ask, and if I can help, I will.
I react very well to an offer of a glass of wine as well!
I can order cabs, restaurants for guests or make calls for local information.
I have provided info on the 'Guidebook' & listed useful websites for guests to peruse. The internet is chock packed full of info on Cardiff/Wales, it's a good idea for guests to make themselves aware of what the city has to offer.
Other things to note
Always have the correct change for buses - THEY DO NOT GIVE CHANGE. £1.80 single and £3.60 for an all day ticket. Weekly and monthly bus passes are available via the Cardiff bus website and office. See CARDIFF BUS website or download the app.
There are NO single beds or bedrooms - read each listing carefully.

By day I am a massage/beauty therapist but also a busy hands-on home owner who offers Welsh hospitality to all guests.
I enjoy all aspects of being a host, providing a big Welsh breakfast, having a chat over a vino, giving visitor information on the capital and helping guests as much as possible.
As for things I like, I'm a huge rugby fan, keen independent traveller, current affairs, entertaining friends at home, socialising in the city, talking about the Welsh language, cinema, photography, comedy nights at The Glee Club, Curb Your Enthusiasm, home baking and a large glass of vino calapso after a hectic week.
I appreciate good communication with potential guests so that their stay is as pleasant and hassle free as possible. I'd like to think that I go an extra mile for guests, so if you want me to put some beers in the fridge, a heated footspa, or some Welsh cakes on your arrival, just ask.
I'd like to make a personal statement about how I prefer the guest-host relationship. If you want The Hilton, then book The Hilton. Please do not expect to see a concierge on the door, a chef, a Manager, or a Housekeeper - it's just me, I do it all. Do not expect The Hilton on a beer budget. Chez Rossi is rustic with every room having it's own individual theme. Perfection ain't for me, I like to mix it up.
I will not make any apology to those who do not thoroughly read each room description before making an informed decision. There's nothing I can do when you arrive. Leave your sense of entitlement and ego at the front door.
MY MOTTO: It's nice to be important but it's important to be nice!
Cardiff is a great big-little-city which caters for all ages, genres and budgets. Pack your comfy shoes, the city centre is pretty flat and bike hire will whizz you from Llandaff Cathedral down to Cardiff Bay in a flash. We got it all going on in the Principality, so come and stay soon!
