Enjoy rural southeast Ohio at this cozy 3-bedroom craftsman house adjacent to 155 acres of Appalachian wilderness which is available for hiking. Our peaceful country setting is located in rustic Morgan County just minutes from the Jesse Owens State Park, Scenic Byway St Rt 78, The Wilds Animal Refuge, the Big Muskie Bucket, the quaint towns of Beverly and McConnelsville, and a half hour drive from the beautiful, historic river town of Marietta. Many outdoor activities are nearby.

My husband (Eric) and I were prior AirBnB hosts and due to a career change discontinued hosting. We recently acquired Eric's family home and updated it to be an AirBnB retreat. We look forward to offering this space to guests.
The house was built in 1960 by Eric's father who lived there until his passing in 2021 at age 94. The house has been meticulously maintained all those years.
Eric and I have been married for 43 years. My husband is a software engineer and I am a retired high school secretary. Our daughter lives nearby and teaches high school chemistry. She has four children that we thoroughly enjoy! Our oldest son lives in Westerville, OH and is an electrical engineer. Our youngest son lives in Oconomowoc, WI and is an environmental specialist. All three of our kids are graduates of The Ohio State University, and we are all avid Buckeye fans!
I enjoy reading, sewing, and shopping. My husband enjoys work and golf. We like to travel, especially to National Parks throughout the U.S. We both grew up in this area of rural southeastern Ohio and enjoy country living.
