  • We had a wonderful time at Chateau Le Tour. Although we came to the Dordogne to explore the region and especially the local food we only went out to Dinner twice, out of which one night Ed and Ineke asked us and for more guests to join them in a restaurant in Bergerac which turned out to be a very good choice. The other nights we just couldn’t resist to stay at Chateau Le Tour to enjoy good company, excellent food prepared by the hosts with the help of Wilhelm and Ingrid, two good friends of them who give them a hand twice a year. Ed and Ineke are a very generous couple, which also applied to the wine which they served with dinner. We got to know interesting people from different cultural backgrounds and Ed and Ineke know how to create a good atmosphere among all of the guests. We will definitely return and recommend a stay with Ed and Ineke.

  • Chateau Le Tour is a stunning home that Edward and Inekar kindly open up to guests. The house is fabulous with large, luxurious bedrooms, comfortable beds, the bathrooms are modern, spacious and have great showers. The house is set in beautiful grounds surrounded by horses that are part of the nearby riding school, there is a large new pool and great terrace area for relaxing. Above all of this, the most enjoyable part of our stay was the generosity and welcoming attitude that we received from the point we were picked up at the airport to the point that Edward went out of his way to give us a lift back into Bergerac. They provided a delicious 3 course meal with an endless supply of tasty wine and the best tiramisu we'd ever tasted. All in all our experience was exceptional and we both loved our time there and our only regret was that we only stayed for one night. Thank you so much for a fun and welcoming experience in you stunning home. We highly recommended a visit.

  • There is really only one word for Chateau le Tour and our hosts Ed and Ineke.....magnifique! From start to finish and in every detail of the manor we enjoyed our stay in no small part to Ed and Ineke who definitely know how to make a traveler feel at home. It was a combination of magical places and people that one remembers fondly throughout a lifetime. I highly recommend the region, the manor and the very special hosts.
