Terrasol Beach Resorts will charge you a service tax of $15/night per couple, $20/night for up to 4 people, $25/night for 5 people, etc. This service tax is paid to Terrasol, not the owner, upon departure with a credit card or cash. There are no other taxes or fees. I would recommend only registering 2 people, to minimize the service tax.
The place is overall great! It has great views of the beach and spacious rooms. Linda did a great job maintaining the place. However, we had some problems with checking in. Apparently, Linda did not contact the management about our arrival, but after a quick phone, the issue is resolved. Another problem with this place is bed bugs. My friend and I got bites all over our body. I hope Linda could resolve this problem in the future. Overall, I gave this place thumbs up !
We are pretty down to earth people and don't expect perfection, but this event really kind of fell apart and left a lot to be desired. Linda tells me that she was in the hospital and therefore the problems. I believe her and feel for her problems, but it did not help what we found there. In addition, the stories I heard from others, including the HOA, tells me that there seems to always be some on going problem of some kind.
Linda was terrible at ever responding to us, even a month in advance. Two emails in the week prior to our trip were never returned. We showed up to check in and were told that we could not even have access, as Linda had not been paying the HOA and the power had been turned off to the unit. In addition to that; the telephone was turned off, and the cable was turned off, but the HOA worked with us and at least allowed for the power to be turned back on so we could try to take advantage of the vacation.
Besides the other problems there was; food left in the fridge with no power, trash left in the unit from previous guests, dead roaches on the floor, a fridge that made so much noise it kept you awake, the two large burners on the stove did not work, the broom was broken in half and taped back together (we bought a new one for the unit so we could clean), unit had not been deep cleaned forever; filth pile in all the corners, missing fixtures on tubs, shower heads clogged with no pressure, doors that drag on the floors and will not latch and lock, etc. etc.
If it were not for the the problems of power and getting into the unit, we could have dealt with the rest of it.....it all just kind of added up. There is a reason it is offered so inexpensively. It is an older unit that really has not been kept up that well. Again, for the money, we would have been fine if it were not for all the basic amenities of life that were turned off.
I can tell you that AirBNB did a great job of trying to intervene, offering solutions and taking care of things. I could not have ask for more from them.
In giving Linda the benefit of the doubt we still give the unit 3 stars for price and location.
Amazing location, amazing apartment, and amazing resort. So close from everything. No complaints about this apartment whatsoever. Highly recommend it.
Top notch experience. We would definitely go back. The small restaurant by the pool makes excellent meals and is both convenient and reasonably priced. The marina is very close. Within 500 yards of the condo, you can set up fishing and day excursions. The shopping on the marina and the shopping district is fun - don't be afraid to bargain as it's expected. If you want a relaxing day on the deck or down by the pool, it's a few short steps away. A quick taxi ride to Wal Mart will keep the trip within your budget if you want to cook. The fishing was second to none. We caught 9 mackeral on a panga and then went out on a big boat one day and caught marlin, dorado and wahoo. Solomon's Landing had many creative recipes to tempt your taste buds. The guys at the little restaurant by the pool will make fish tacos and omelettes. I'm actually planning on booking with Linda again in 2015.
Terrasol compex easy access to public transportation, walking distances to varies of restaurans and local stores for small items. You can take the local bus it saids, MEGAS or Sorianas supermaket, those are the big supermarkets for Los Cabos, you can buy anywhere from wine to fresh vegetables and the prices are great. Bus ride is 11.50 pesos. If you wish to go to Todos Los Santos, you can grab the bus by MEGAS runs every hour,the cost 120.00 pesos per ride. I will highly recommend Lindas place, you have the ocean view from the terraza, private beach, swiming pool, if you want warmer water, go to the pool located by the restaurant. She has enough dishes to make some food. Just be gentil with her stuff! You will have a nice time. Go to Solomons Landing, they have great margaritas a great dish called Chamorro (pork). Make sure to tip your wait staff, they reliant on tips, since they only get paid a flat fee.
The place was very nice. It is a time share very close to a private beach with wifi and everything you need for a little vacation.

I stayed at Linda's for 4 nights and 5 days and had a great time! It's a great location if you are going to relax and want to be away from the noise but within walking distance to great restaurants and bars/clubs. I walked to the marina (5 mins away) and the main strip (10 mins away) every single day and always felt safe even at night.
You will have a great view from one of the rooms and will be awakened by sunrises so beautiful that you'll never want to leave Cabo! The unit is a little dated, but most things in Mexico are. When you combine the price, location, and amenities, Linda's place can't be beat!
She left perfect instructions for everything and good suggestions for restaurants and things to do. There was also wi-fi in the unit with a strong signal which came in handy to keep my phone bill low. The condo staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Definitely suggesting this place to friends and family.
It was our first time in Baja California and we decided to visit Cabo on short notice. Linda replied extremely fast and provided all the details with a smile written between the lines. She even gave additional hints how to enjoy our stay even more!
Linda is a really uncomplicated host and we would definitely stay in her place again.
Nice place - the beds were full of fleas/bed bugs though.
There was a death in my family in Sept so I was out of town and did not even see this review about bed bugs and fleas for some time. I live in the San Francisco bay area and my listing is in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Because of the language barrier, I am not aware of any issues with the condo unless it is reported by one of my guests. Now that I am aware of the problem, I have instructed the Manager to fumigate for bed bugs and fleas. This will be done on Tuesday, Oct 15th.
Matthew said there were bed bugs and fleas, so it sounds to me like he is not totally sure what was there. Anyway, I will fumigate for bed bugs and fleas. I will then take the extra precaution of totally protecting the mattresses by using mattress covers that zip around the entire mattress.
