  • My grand-daughter's and my stay with Gillian and her husband was a great "first" Airbnb experience. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet: so welcome after a hectic day of covering as much of Boston as possible! Every room was spotless and the view of nighttime Boston spectacular! Gillian's superb art work make you feel as if you are staying in an exclusive boutique hotel! Morning coffee was delish; Gillian offered various treats including yogurt. Gillian was so gracious, meeting at a pre planned location and walking the short distance to her home, giving us "the basics" regarding keys, etc. The location was really convenient for our museum, "T" and walk-based itinerary. Restaurant suggestions were spot on and I will return to Chinatown soon for another meal at the Gourmet Dumpling!

  • I absolutely loved staying in this loft. Gillian was very attentive, yet left us to our own devices. There was coffee ready for us both mornings and fruit, yogurt and bars for breakfast. The apartment is a beautiful home filled with great pieces of art. In a building filled with artists like Gillian. It was very close to the train station and was very easy to walk around, go back for a nap and then go out again.
Great hosts, great apartment, awesome bed and a good location. I would definitely stay with them again.

  • Gillian was a gracious and attentive host. Prior to our arrival, she offered helpful guidance and was accommodating to our arrival plans. We were pleased during our stay thanks to the comfy bed and freshly brewed coffee in the mornings. Would also note, the great location for both walking and public transit around Boston. It was also a definite plus to have a friendly chat and hear top tips for for local eateries and museums. Would gladly recommend this as a place to stay in Boston!

  • My daughter and I stayed in Gillians apartment for two nights, and had a wonderful time. She has a lovely loft, bright, and clean, furnished with all kinds of interesting artwork. The bedroom was very welcoming, located adjacent to the bathroom. The bed is very cozy and comfortable, with nice lighting for reading. The bathroom was spotless. Coffee, fruit and yogurt were provided in the mornings. The apartment is located in a safe, quiet area, within easy walking distance to the MFA, several train stops and many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and can recommend it very highly.

About
I am a sculptor, and have focused my career on creating public artwork. I am inspired to make work based on the familiar objects that one may view through their daily travels. I enjoy refinishing furniture, caring for plants, sewing and baking. Since I'm a welder by day, indulging in the most feminine of hobbies is a refreshing and quiet change of pace. I'm an avid reader and podcast listener. Tootsie remains my favorite all-time movie. I love a good coffee and swimming.
