Beautiful apartment right across Mount Royal. Centrally located, the neighbourhood has everything you need to enjoy Montreal at its best!
The apartment is located on one of the nicest and greenest streets in Montreal right in front of beautiful mount Royal. It is also perfectly located to enjoy winter sports: there is an outdoor skating rink in front of the apt and mount Royal is ideal for cross-country skiing, sleigh sliding or just walking.
The apt is ideally located in the Plateau neighborhood within a 15 minute walk of the Mile-End and downtown area. Even though it is located in a very central area, our street is very peaceful and our neighbors are very quiet, respectful people. There are cheap grocery stores and excellent bars, restaurants and cafés a step away. A real foodie heaven!
The apartment itself is very sunny and bright. It comes fully furnished with a gas oven. The apartment includes one bedroom, one office, a large dining /living room, a kitchen, a newly renovated bathroom and a large balcony you will enjoy dining on (weather permitting). We have to admit the kitchen and the bathroom are on the smaller end of things, but they are very clean and well designed. A washer and a drier are available in the building's basement. The apt has hardwood floors.
It is very easy to park on our street. Bixi stations and various bus lines including #80 and #55 are close by.
The landlord lives on the first floor. He and his wife are very friendly and caring.
*We have high-speed wireless Internet.
*The apt is non-smoking and no pets are allowed. No exceptions.

I had a great experience in this lovely apartment overlooking the plateau. It's very well located with easy access to the nicest restaurants and neighbourhoods in the city.
Just had a great couple of days at Jean-Thomas's place. The apartment is wonderfully low-key, just as advertised, and in a great location. With easy access to Plateau, the Park, and Mile End, it was a great home base for the trip we wanted. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
We loved it at JT's! The location is perfect, right on the park and close to everything; the apartment is very bright and sunny, and the hosts are really well organized. They left guide books, Bixi bike information, beach towels and notes on how to use everything in the apartment. It does get very warm but you can leave the door and windows open to cool it off, we spent most of the time on the balcony anyway. And it can be a little loud weekend nights with all of the people in the park- but it's a great, lively place. We'd definitely stay again!
We had such an amazing week at Jean-Thomas' apartment! It is everything he described--quiet, sunny, and on the most gorgeous street in the coolest neighborhood in the city. Although the kitchen and bathroom are almost too small for two people to be in at the same time, the rest of the apartment is quite spacious and the balcony was where we spent most of our time anyways!
Jean-Thomas was also very communicative and helpful, giving us the scoop on where to go nearby, including an awesome speakeasy bar we never would have found on our own!
We highly recommend this apartment!
I am from Montreal, Canada. Even though I study law, I am a laid-back person who loves to take the time to travel, try new food and cycle whenever I can. Here are some of my interests: art house movies, cooking, urban planning, cities, history, hiking and floorball.
I have lived in Montreal, Western Canada, Îles de la Madeleine, Paris and Singapore and am looking forward to have the chance to live in another city somewhere in the future!
