Good apartment in a great location, very close to the metro and Luxembourg Gardens. The terrace was great with a glimpse of the Eiffel Tower. A great base to explore Paris.
Myself and my husband stayed at this beautiful apartment in a very stunning area of Paris for my 30th birthday!
We were offered an early arrival which was excellent and very generous of Bastien as we arrived in Paris at 9am. We had some trouble opening the door (second door on the left hand side once leaving the lift) but I text Bastien and he sent the lovely Maria to let us in within 10 minutes!
We loved the freshness of the apartment and the balcony. It is not the biggest but very ample for the two of us and the design and decor made it feel bigger.
There is everything you need inside, fridge, hob, oven and utensils etc (a corkscrew would have been good but we managed with a knife! Haha). Wifi connection was fast too and let us keep in touch with family without charges.
There was a welcomed breeze that spills into the apartment that cooled us down on a very hot day. Montparnasse tower glows at you at night which is very close and stunning. The Eifell tower is visible too, just though! We are quite tall so could see it above the shrubs but they might benefit from a trim (just being picky, they have probably shot up over summer!).
The apartment is literally round the corner from Vavin metro which is just 1 stop away from Montparnasse that connects you to all of the major metro lines. To get to the airport we walked about 10 mins to Port-Royal station which is RER and connects directly to CDG airport.
Montparnasse tower and cemetary is a short walk and highly recommended! The catacoumbs a little extra but really no need to travel by metro (even though it is rediculously easy) better to absorb the sights along the streets!
The apartment connects to the main streets that go to the Louvre and Eifell tower but quite a walk. We took a taxi back from near the Louvre and it was less than 10 euros so don't be put off thinking it will cost a lot! Maps make Paris seem bigger than it is!
Around Vavin in particular there is a vast mixture of cafés, restaurants and bakeries etc. Lots to see and do locally.
We had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay again. Perfect!
The apartment is just as described, all the amenities you need are there and Bastien even added a fan which came in quite handy for August in Paris. Also the terrace is the perfect place to relax after some sightseeing. Getting into the apartment was very easy due to Bastien's detailed instructions. We had a great time.
Perfect little apartment with a nice little terrace. Sebastien was not there to greet us, but he left us very clear instructions and everything went smoothly. The neighbourhood was clean and close to almost everything. Metro station is a 2 min walk.
This is such a great location - Walking distance to all the best parts of town. The terrace and view are awesome. Totally clean and cozy apartment with great communication from our host.
The neighbourhood was perfect and the apartment was clean and perfect, described and the photos were acurate.
Bastien was easy to contact and fast to reply to answer any questions and the check-in was on time and according to plan.
