Air conditioning is available in both the bedroom and the living room. A large-screen TV in the living room has cable TV and wireless internet is strong throughout the apartment. Interaction with Guests
We are always available to our guests via phone, text, or email while we're away should they need anything. We will not be present during your stay and will organize a easy handoff of the key at the beginning if we can't be there when you arrive.
We are a two minute walk from the 14th Street/8th Avenue A-C-E-L stop. You can take the L and be in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, in 15 minutes and take the A-C-E easily down to World Trade or up towards Times Square or Columbus Circle in minutes. One avenue block east is the 1-2-3 at 14th Street/7th Avenue stop.
The Hudson River Bike Path is minutes from our place. And one block south of us, you can rent bikes. And a Citibike bike share station is just seconds from the apartment.
We are neat and tidy people who love our home and expect our guests to be respectful and treat our home as they would their own. Oh, and we expect you to enjoy New York, too. :-)
Our living room, with writing/laptop table for two and TV with cable and a DVD player.
Michael was amazing to speak to when booking the apartment and he was so extremely helpful at all times even during our stay. Michael has an gorgeous and beautiful apartment (probably, the best apartment I have seen in NY so far!!) and it was pristine clean and exactly like the pictures he has posted. From a location perspective, I don't think you can get any better - block away from Chelsea Market, blocks away from high line and block away from meat packing! We had a blast. Thank you Michael
Michale was a great host! Keys were mailed to us so we didn't have to worry about getting in at a certain time (which was great since our flight was two hours late). The instructions on getting in were so easy and the apartment itself was perfect! SOO clean which was and always is the best part. It was exactly as the pictures showed it to be and we could not have been happier with thel ovation. Michael left a book for us he had put together with further information and useful tips but was always readily available to answer any questions we had all weekend. Cannot say one negative thing about this, highly recommend it :)
I've stayed at Michael & Nick's apartment several times and it feels like my home away from home! The location is perfect, convenient to everywhere I want to hang out in the city, the subway is around the corner and it's very easy to hail a cab. Will definitely be back again!
couldn't have asked for a better first airbnb experience.
michael was so genuinely accommodating and helpful from the onset - responsive in booking the place to leaving detailed notes and recommendations during the stay (e.g., quick facts, neighborhood gems).
the apartment itself is amazing and is exactly as it's described and displayed in the listing. it's perfectly spacious, comfortable and clean with everything you could possibly need. location is awesome and within walking distance of great restaurants, bars, shops, etc.
all things considered, the rate seemed more than reasonable compared to other nearby options. hope to stay here again the next time we're in NYC.
We liked this place so much last September (see my review from then) we were thrilled to find that it was available this long weekend when we got back to NYC. Just like last time, the place is excellent, pristine condition, everything was very comfortable, the location can't be beat, and the communication with the hosts are quick and efficient. We love this pace and would love to go back again.
What a wonderful apartment!
Michael was beyond accommodating and helpful with everything. Special arrangements re picking up keys was especially appreciated.
The welcome booklet is a brilliant touch, as was the wine and the note. I would stay here over a hotel anyday.
We'd book again without a second thought.
Michael was very responsive to all my emails, and during our stay in the apartment. The space is very well appointed and made us feel like we were in our second home. The neighborhood couldn't be any more exciting. Close access to transportation, and great energy. It's exactly where we wanted to be.
