Small Studio 12 m2 with furnitures (saucepan, oven, fridge, cooker etc) in an old hausmanian building on the 6th floor (without elevator). , WC, shower and sink. Nice view on Paris roofs. Quiet place. Wood on the floor, mézzanine (bed 1 pers but 2 for lovers...), coach 2 people. The place is simple.
Very well located, close to the Marais, Bastille area and 100 m from la Seine and the island " ile Saint Louis" where it is nice to have an icecream Bertillon after an improvised picknic along the river.
This is a great base if you are in Paris, the neighborhood is very lively.
Little shop to buy food downstairs and the tude ligne 7 in the street "sully-morland". Possibility to rent bicycle in the street "vélib".
Tube bastille ligne 1, 5, 8 at 5-10 min by walk.
Come to live the real bohemian life in Paris !
pay attention: there is no bed linen but there are 2 blanckets

ligne 7 stop at sully morland right in the street
l'île saint Louis, the river la seine down the street, the little restaurants and cafés, the walking access to all notre dame de Paris or most of the main monuments of the city, the 5 minutes walking distance from saint paul in the marais etc...

Although our check in wasn't smooth due to a mistake made by the previous guest, Alexandre was very responsible and assuring. The studio itself has a great location, but as reviewed by another guest, the sofa bed is broken. Definitely not a place for you if you are fussy!
Great neighborhood, quiet, not too many tourists, but very close to lots of interesting things. Also close to public transportation. Alexandre was really responsive and seemed very nice in the few communications we had.
As others have noted, the apartment is *very* small and a number of things are broken (the fold out couch/bed is missing one leg, which made the bed tip if you knelt there, and also was missing slats in the middle, but I still slept well on it). In general, the apartment is pretty dingy and when I came, it seemed to me that it hadn't been well cleaned recently (crumbs on the couch, dirty cup out, dust in corners, toilet smell in bathroom).
In the end, 50 euros a night is very inexpensive for central Paris and you have to decide if that price plus the great neighborhood and host offsets the negatives (small, things broken, not very clean). I think next time I would pass on this place, but it is a close call for me.
Fantastic location, and very small but nice room. Super quiet. Alexandre is was very helpful. Would stay there if we are going to Paris again. Thank you !!
Alexandre is a good host, and the apartment is really good located. when we arrived it wasn't very clear, but is really cheap and really near to metro sully morland.
A refaire !
