Overall Guest Satisfaction

Check In
  • Agnes was so accommodating and flexible! We sleep three girls in the room/same bed easily, but she still provided us with an awesome air mattress. She kept our room stocked with drinks and snacks and was super flexible when our train ran late. She also gave us recommendations and directions. The house is easy to find and really accessible. The price for us was MORE than fair. I would definitely recommend staying with Agnes for a no-fuss, friendly stay!

  • We had a delightful two days at Agnes' apartment on Sugar Hill. Agnes is a wonderful hostess, accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and pleasant, and Agnes provided snacks and juices and tea as well as breakfast ingredients. We hope to come back for a few days in June.

  • We encountered a problem during our stay: the bedroom window was broken. The nights were so cold, despite the heaters and blankets! So I would discourage you to stay in this room until the temperatures in New York do not be softened!

The room is ok for two people but too just for 3 people. The bed is made for a couple, but too small for 2 friends. On the other hand, the inflatable mattress is big enough.

Housekeeping is correct but the manic must refrain!

The neighborhood is safe and move transportation can be very fast if you take the express train.

Agnes is helpful. If you report a problem to her, she will endeavor to respond to your problem. She also leaves drinks and biscuits available and she offers service machine washing.
Nevertheless, she was very rude when I asked for extra blankets after two nights with very cold temperatures. But she still agreed to lend me extra blankets.

  • Agnes was a great host.

    She was friendly and helpful.

I would recommend Agnes to future Airbnb guests.

Her Airbnb room was exactly what I needed during my short stay in New York. Conveniently located near the subway, restaurants, and convenience stores. Clean room. Safe neighborhood.

  • Agnes was a great host and staying in her apartment was so much better than booking hotel - it was 5 star quality!! There were snacks, drinks and free wifi available straight away and Agnes showed us around the apartment as if it were our own. Agnes gave us tips on the city - how to navigate, where to go, shop - even sending links and maps, which were much appreciated. Agnes also communicated really well with us before and throughout our stay. Agnes is well-versed on the history of such a great area of NY and has some great stories to share. We can't wait to visit again!!

P.S. The location is perfect, with the subway right around the corner, less than 2 minutes walk. And, the apartment was also spotlessly clean!!

    January 2014
  • Agnes is really helpful and nice. She received us with a lot of goodies in the room and also we were able to cook in the kitchen and also prepare our breakfast. She changed the bed linen and towels every 2 days and the location of the apartment is just around the corner of the Metro that takes you downtown. What we didnt like is that there was no living room available as a friend of her was staying there and closed it with a folding screen that was a bit weird. So,we mainly had to stay in the room during the nights which made us realize that the room is quite small for 2 persons. We also were told that the toilet next to our room was exclusively to be used by us, but we realize that other people were using it. uhmm... maybe she should have told us beforehand that there was no living room available and that also other people were staying in the apartment.

    January 2014
  • Agnes was helpful, and always available when we had questions about the house and the city, too. She is also friendly and caring. I would go back to her place, definitely.

    December 2013
  • Agnes was always available to help. Every message or even when we was at the apartment she was always available to help. The sheets and towels were changed every two days and she let lots of snacks at our room. There's also hair dyers, umbrellas and heathers available.

    December 2013
  • We asked for a room at the last minute and Agnès was very reactive. The room is clean and comfortable, just next to the sub, in a safe place. Very welcoming host, thanks for all !

Traveled extensively. Fluent in spanish. Understand Portuguese. I am friendly, engaging and charismatic. A service oriented host, I aim to help everyone, feel welcome and at home. I am your guide from point of contact, through to the end your stay. I LOVE my city and more specifically, living in Harlem. Love all music, but am a jazz aficionado. Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything -Plato
