  • We were lucky enough to have the inn to ourselves as the other two rooms were unoccupied. If they had been occupied, it would have taken cooperation and patience as the shared area is quite small. The room was in a great location and was comfortable and clean. We had some difficulty finding the apartment because our GPS led us to the high end of the street that splits in two. If you are driving, make sure you know where the local car park is because it is very difficult to park on the street.

  • Andre was very accommodating and the property was beautiful. It is surrounded by beautiful countryside.
It is about a 25min bus ride into town and the buses come every hour from across the road from the house and also from the deli down the road (10mins walk away).
The villa itself was clean and nicely decorated. We loved playing with their Lab cross 'Pinot' who was very friendly. The restaurant (conveniently just across the road) served fantastic Italian cuisine. The 'Gastronomique' deli down the road was great- we ended up buying yummy cold meats, cheeses, bread and wine for our first breakfast and then bought some fresh egg pasta and pesto for dinner, all from the same place. They make awesome coffees too!

On our second night we were cooking ourselves dinner however the oven would not work properly. Andre and her son were very helpful in helping heat up our food for us at their place and even gave us a bottle of wine for the trouble! They were very accommodating-thank you! :-)

  • We enjoyed our stay at Paola's B&B. It was very convenient to the main attractions that we wanted to see and to the bus stop that we used. Our only issue was that the wireless Internet would not work on any of our devices. Otherwise, we had a great time and would recommend this place to others.

    Response from Paola F.:

Thank you so much Shalandra! Then it's true: WiFi didn't work as the modem was broken but only after several complaints to my provider (they continued to say there was nothing wrong with my line!!!) it worked out that I had to change it!! So now I have a new one and it does work perfectly!!
    So sorry for the inconvenience!!

  • It was very good! Clean! and quiet enough to relax after walking through the city :) it was very hot in Rome, but the room is very good, even without using an air conditioner, which it has one, the temperature remains at a very good range!
A man comes every day to clean :)
she was herself very nice and helped me by printing my travel tickets.
I was not happy with the taxi drivers and the hot days in Rome! She came for greetings the last day and excused us for the problem we faced while arriving Rome about a taxi driver, however, it was not her fault!

  • Paola's B&B was the perfect stay for first timers in Italy. After a 24 hour journey from Malaysia, my daughter and I were absolutely enthralled by the cosy room which awaits us. The location was perfect. Waking up to church bells ringing close by, having access to THE No 64 bus just outside the entrance to the building, a neat kitchenette with practically everything a traveller would need. To top it off, Paola was a gracious host and very kind to us. It was indeed a wonderful stay and I am thankful that my first AirBnB experience was everything we could hope for. Thanks Paola!

  • Our stay here was excellent. From the included breakfast to the clean room, we were always satisfied. The location was perfect, as the Vatican was a couple hundred metres down the street, and restaurants lined the block. There were informative pamphlets in our room and plenty of maps outlining where we wanted to go. Our stay wouldn't have been as enjoyable otherwise.

  • Paolo was very helpful. We texted her when we landed (on her request) and she helped us out with directions on how to get to the B&B. She greeted us once we arrived, showed us around (what to eat etc..) and had handy maps for our use. I am gluten and dairy free and she purchased products for me to eat at breakfast! That was a great touch since it can be hard to go around looking for soy/gluten free products in a new city.

The other guests were quick so it seemed like we were the only ones in the B&B most of the time. I really liked that a cleaner came in daily to tidy up the room and kitchen area in the late mornings.

I highly recommend this B&B as it is also very well located. Just down the street (maybe 5 minute walk) to the Vatican! (Which is where most of the hop on hop off tours begin). It's easy to also walk to the city center from here, which is just over the bridge.

  • The place is in a really convenient location and a great deal for the money. Paola had maps prepared and helped us Rome first-timers with everything we needed. She sent me a text about a public transport strike the day before which was very thoughtful. The room itself was spacious and had all the amenities we needed, although it can get a little noisy outside the room depending on other guests. Nevertheless we would definitely stay there again!

  • I enjoyed my stay here as this was one of the best deals around. Paola's B&B is very clean and the amenities are great. If you plan to have some laundry done there is one right across the street. The location is convenient with a bus stop right outside as well. I would stay here again next time I visit.
