About this listing
Comfortable 2-bedroom apartment (2 double beds, sleeps up to six people with a comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room, possibility of kiddie bed) in Bologna south east side in a very trendy area. 5 minutes by bike to Parco Regina Margherita, 15 minutes by bike to the centre. Supermarkets, restaurants and bars are only 50 yards away, as is public transport Bus 11 which will take you to the city centre in 10 minutes if you do not feel like cycling ;-)
The neighborhood is child friendly, with a big park and playgarden nearby. It is a residential area, really close to everything, but far enough away to be very peaceful and relaxing. During the day it is nicely crowded whereas at night, you will not find yourself alone in the streets, but will not be bothered by noise from the bars which are far away enough to have a good sleep.
We love to give our guests all the information you need about the city, and have a lot of little restaurant and bars to recommend you. We live nearby and will be available throughout your stay for anything.
Wifi will be available to the beginnig of December

The appartment is far from the center, Fabio told us that he was going to pick us up to Ancona and didn't appear. Appart from that the flat was no so bad, really slow WiFi.
Fabio was helpful and the apt was a walkable distance away from the center. The room was comfortable and it had everything we needed.
DON'T STAY HERE!!! The picture of the room is a false representation of what it is really like. It is dirty and smells. The bathroom is disgusting. The bed was not prepared and we were told to go to the kitchen if we wanted to talk, otherwise our voices would probably annoy the neighbour. An absolute disgrace that this man has the cheek to charge people to stay there.
Hi Darren you come just at night in my apt and you have been here just for few hours
I have prepared the bed and I give you some cover cos i don't know your preference
I told you to go in the kitchen to talk during the night not during the day cos other people in the other apt were slleping just close to you
I offer you crackers and drink water
honestly it is difficult in my experience to deal with people like you which expect to stay in a great hotel by paying 13 euro
Three of us were staying at Fabio place in Bologna.
Unfortunately Fabio was rushing us up even day before arrival - he mention that he is coming specially to open the apt for us (that's his job, right?) and that he needs to go to Rome straight after. That was our first time in Bologna so was hard to say how long will it take to be in his place after landing. 30min. after our airplane landed we were rushed up by txt msg- that was pretty stressful and not very nice.
Eventually we met up with Fabio on the nearest bus stop to his place- he show us the house in 5 minutes and.... run off.
After few second we knew why !
Apartment was filled with smell of bleach for the next 5 days of our stay. Fabio was cleaning the place just before we came and tried very hard but all for nothing. The house was dirty, dusty and sticky. Kitchen was just something from other space. Every single glass, plate, fork and knife was sticky and we needed to give it a good brush before use.
On top of that -smell of bleach was giving us a headache.
On the other hand - apartment is not bad located. The bus is just few minutes from the house and taking you to Piazza Maggiore in 11min.
Neighbourhood is very nice. There is a shop just next to and big park in front. Rooms are big enough and there is wi-f in the house.
If Fabio will use the money for a cleaning service, the apt won't be that bad after all.
uh...and one more thing - make sure if Fabio won't come to collect the keys day before and will stay on the couch in the kitchen, as he offer to us on the beginning.
Easy check in. Minimal furnishings. Quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to the town center by bus. Wifi is very slow, but a police precinct 5 minutes away has free public wifi.
By the way, this is a walk up and if you have suitcases you will have a bit of a tough time.
