About this listing
This is a healthy, clean, quiet place to stay while you're visiting Las Vegas. It's an adult home, so you can do as you please (no curfew, no restrictions on activities here other than smoking and shoes) and I'd like you to feel like you're in your own home.
My home is a healthy place to stay, whether you're taking advantage of the exciting events in Las Vegas or working toward goals you've set.
You'll feel motivated and energized staying in my home; you'll find it easier to set and reach goals, and you'll be more likely to think in broad terms and set your sights high.
I have tons of healthy food around, fresh fruits and veggies. You'll be welcome to use the kitchen which is equipped with a juicer as well as a Vitamix. Most days, I'll help you start your day with a delicious fruit smoothie. I've got crossfit-style workout equipment available.
You'll have your own private furnished bedroom, with a comfortable pillow-top queen-size mattress on the bed, as well as use of the rest of the house.
I'm just off Las Vegas Blvd, about 3 miles south of the Strip. There's a bus depot within walking distance from which you can travel all over Vegas.
I should note, my place is nice and clean and cozy, but it is a house that I've raised my two dogs in, and it shows in a couple areas. The carpet has been chewed in a couple corners, and their favorite windowsill to look out of shows evidence of five years of dog paws, just fyi.
My house has all the amenities you'd expect, (although I have wireless internet, I don't have any subscription television service) and a community pool and hot tub. You can make use of the laundry facilities, and you'll have a full bathroom of your own.
Interaction with Guests
You'll set the level of interaction you'd like. I'm here to help with local knowledge, help with transportation, or just to chat. You are also welcome to hang out in your bedroom if you prefer.
My place is a four minute walk from a bus stop that will take you to the bus depot from which you can go anywhere in Las Vegas. The bus to the Strip and Downtown stops at this stop on the return. This bus also runs all night.
Parking in this neighborhood is free and plentiful, with unregulated curb parking.
You can call a taxi to the house, or walk five minutes to the outlet mall next door and grab a taxi.
No smoking in or around the house
Take your shoes off inside the house
Be nice to my two small friendly dogs (I have them every other week)
No curfew or 'quiet hours', you can come and go as you please
About the Host, Kevin
I live in Las Vegas because I'm interested in helping people relax and enjoy themselves. I came here to work for a casino company in development (I've since left to strike out on my own as a life coach), but I missed the interaction with guests, so I like to meet visitors staying in my own home. You'll feel motivated and energized staying in my home; you'll find it easier to set and reach goals, and you'll be more likely to think in broad terms and set your sights high.
I'm interested in personal development and the pursuit of one's passions. My goal is to get to the end of my life and look back with satisfaction at relations built, goals reached, fulfillment achieved.
An avid outdoorsman, I can direct you to the best hikes in the area, and to scores of world-class outdoor destinations within four hours of Las Vegas.
The best books I've ever read are Guns, Germs, and Steel - nonfiction, and Power of One - fiction. I like movies of all types, and I love a hero's journey.
