Experience the lightkeeper's lifestyle!
Our historic lighthouse is 20 miles east of NYC, and about 1400 feet off the north-side of Long Island Sound. The island itself was manmade in 1840, and the tower and house were built around 1867.
Lighthouse has rooms with air mattresses for sleeping bags.
Portable camping toilets must be serviced by guests.
Guests must also bring own food, and are responsible for payment for the two-mile / 15-minute boat transportation to and from island.
Sorry -- no smoking and alcohol will allowed on island. We have a strict policy, with zero (website hidden): The show "Ghost Adventures" and other folks say we might have a ghost at the lighthouse...
