Sharing the apartment with me and other fellow Airbnb guests, is very different of renting a hotel. Is a new thing we are all trying to adapt our self to this new set of circumstances. You knew in advance were you'd be going, otherwise you wouldn't be in one of my rooms. If something, sharing a room here is more like a roommate than hotel or family guests. Is quite hard for me, a single guy with huge apartment, to keep everything perfect with hotel standard all the time. Im not a Hotel, Motel a Hostal, im alone here and I have a life, other than my flat and Airbnb. So, I try to do maintenance all the time. I ask for a cleaning fee because that is a different job, very fiscal and hard, believe or not, and sometimes I need to ask people to help me with that money. It only covers the cleaning of your room after you left, it doesn't cover the maintenance of the place, the cleaning of the kitchen or the bathroom after you or your friends use it. As temporal roommate you could help by cleaning the kitchen and the bathroom after you used, and even give little care for the whole space while you are here. Don't hold your opinions about my place or your room or whatever circumstances you keep till the moment to review. I take those review very personally, after all I allowed you to be in my home, my space, my life. And because I try my best to keep everything in order and clean. Let me know what is it and I fix or repair it or whatever you tell me, help me out doing whatever you can for the place and, even more important, by telling me as sooner the better what you are not happy with. Is better that tha long faces and terrible reviews form both ends.
Check out must be coordinated at least the night before you departure.
Remember you can always reach me at my phone or Whats App, Telegram, Viber with the same phone number.
If you wish to contact me by email, I always prefer you use airbnb message board. It makes everything easier.
Towels and sheets are provided.
Very important too:
I live in an actual second floor but is called Primera that means first. Actual first floor is called in Spain Primera. So careful with this. Please don't knock on my neighbours doors if you are not sure is my door. My door number is 1-2, means first floor(but is a second) second door. It is an inter phone downstairs that you better ring before you come into the building. Remember 1-2.
Turn off the lights, heater, fan, when you leave the room. Save the planet.
Set the shower pressure no too hard, so you dont water the floor thus clean it up.
The room is to be left in the same condition as it was when initially checked in.
You will be responsible to maintain the standard of cleanliness and tidiness in the Room, Kitchen and the Bathroom.
Being respectful and friendly to others around you both in the apartment and neighbors.
You have full access to common spaces as kitchen, washing machine room and living room. As you do in your house clean them after use.
Alejandro was very nice and welcomed us with open hands. He showed us our room, kitchen and toillets and explained some facts and provide some interesting informations about Barcelona. During our staying in the room we didnt see him quite often, so we really enjoy full privacy. Location is very good, lots of good bars and restaurants near. I recommend you to visit Barcelona and stay at Alejandros place.
The flat is in a perfect location: in the middle of an old city. The streets there very narrow so it is guite dark and loud in the room, but it is normal in such location. The room was ok, but the furniture is rather old and much used. The flat defenety needs refreshing :-). The kitchen was very dirty. The towels we got from Alejandro were clean, but old, used - not nice. He is a nice guy, but should try harder to offer something nicer - it does not cost so much :-)
Alejandro fue un anfitrión muy amable, te hace sentir como en casa, y hace que te enamores del Born. El departamento esta ubicado en una excelente zona, y estratégico para recorrer los lugares emblemáticos de Barcelona

A very important referen e point to our place, wether you coming from the beach or from the upper city you may end in one of the many walls of this amazing building. Gothic at its best.
Very good coffe, breakfast and lunch. Good friends with us, near to our place, nice service and terrace.
Nice and quite sophisticated tapas place. Check the squid ink croquettes.
Great Asian food place in case you are done with tapas and paella.
Good tapas, nice atmospher, authentic and very trendy at the same time.
Extremely delicious pan Asian food. Thai, Korean, Japanese and Chinese with a twist.
Probably one go my favorites. Tapas, easy and cheap, don't miss the mussels!
One of the oldest, most traditional and top quality Catalonian food in Barcelona.
