My apartment is situated in the port, near the landing stage for Corsica and near the Water-sports club as well as the beaches. In my street you will find all the businesses (bakery, snack bar(snack), fresh products) restaurants, pubs, cinemas, theaters and museums. All the buses, the streetcar, the station and the airport are close. For your enjoyment you can attend the famous Jazz festival and walk in several parks: the Mount Boron, the Mansion of both Kings.
Numerous museums (archeology, painting, modern art, naive art, Matisse Museum, Fine Arts Museum, Chagall Museum of Asian Art are free. Autumn allows romantic walks, short or long according to your wishes as soon if you're sporting a very good starting point to go skiing or exploring the hills surrounding our friendly little town of Nice.
To rest, visit and sometimes to participate at a stage, hollydays, it's a good place, you can go everywhere and come back even late in the night, it's secure.
Many festivals, opportunities with the end of the year, new year, the "carnaval de Nice", to photography, paint or visit, it's a pleasure.

I must say Kim was a very nice person but unfortunately I had to leave because as the room was the same when I got there it was filled with storage items . the bed was like a hammock and although I was told that they had a cat I didn't know the cat owned the bathroom sink. when I am sorry to say I would not recommended the place.
Really sorry but I told you everything about the place and the cat but you did'nt like the way it was drinking in the bathroom, but really it's a cat and his independence, I cannot do many things ! I try to undersatnd what about the hammock but I don't understand what it means; Sorry once again. I hope you can find other places where you feel good !
I stayed with Fab for one night and she was very kind to host me at the last minute. Fab is very warm, welcoming and intelligent. She has lots of maps and site seeing guides to help navigate your time in Nice. Great location near the port and walking distance to the main strip. However I do have to mention that the place was pretty dirty and cluttered. There was visible grim in the shower and bathroom. The kitchen also had a strange pungent smell to it. Manageable for one night.
I thank you for your comment. I know I'm making place all the time and drop what isn't important. For the strange smell in the kitchen, it's really difficlult, it comes back all the time and has something to do with the age of the conducts and the anciennneté of cosntsructions, we have asked to do what's necessary, but these smells return permanently and more violently in case of announced bad weather, or of thunderstorm.
Fab is an amazing hostess, very intelligent and kind.
she was always ready to help us, what made our staying with her - a very comfortable one. The view from the balcony is breathtaking, it makes you feel far away from all your problems..i also liked the closeness to the old town and to the port, lots of small cafes all around the area...i wish i could stay longer...
Fab was a great host and very helpful with tips and informations. I loved the room with the balcony and also the area of the port. It's quiet authentic lifestyle and lovely streets. The walk to the old center is short. Velo bleu station is in front of the door, also like Socca shops :-) Merci
Fab is a very friendly and kind person. She helps us with all our questions. The appartment was good and the view from the balcony is awesome!
Stayed just for one night and everything with the room was just easy to handle, communication and kindness, perfect! We even forgot our keys in the room and she would call to give the chance to pick it up before leaving to Germany-TOP!
Fabienne est une super gentille personne! J'avais pas de problème de trouver son appartement rapidement et c'est situé près du viex nice. La chambre était rangemant et propre, elle a acheté même des nouveux coussins pour mon copain et moi!
Je la recommande à tous!
I had a very nice stay in Nice at Fabs place. I really admire Fab for being so generous towards other people, inspirational to hear.
Nice is great, although the beaches dont have sand :) the mediterrean sea is wonderfull for a swim and the many many restaurants are delicious.
I recommend the Velo Blue to get around in Nice: the open bicycle plan with a bit older bikes but still a great way to rent bikes for nearly nothing: a week subscription sets you back € 5 and every first half hour is free.
Kimberlite was a great host! She was very friendly and gave me some good advice for things to see in the city. The room is very simple but is perfect for what I needed. It was clean, had WiFi, and was very close to the beaches and everything else in the city. You even have your own little private balcony!
i stayed for just one night : i didn't get to meet fab, because she was working nights, but she was easy to contact, and i was capably looked after by her two sons. the flat is in a convenient location, easy walking distance from the port and the old town. the room was nice, wifi fine, and even the dreaded Nice-parking-experience went very smoothly for me
