Sick of big cities and stressful sightseeing? This places offers peace and tranquility and a taste of the untouched Italian countryside. This area is not touristy (even though very close to Rome) so you will immerse in real Italian culture.
The rooms of this old country house have been recently restored mixing authentic style and modern comforts. Our rooms are connected to a comunal area with kitchen for everybody. We offer free Wifi, use of washingmachine, parking space and also a large garden area. The price of 19 Euro per night per person applies to a double room with shared bathroom. For a single room with shared bathroom it is 28 Euro per night. As the airbnb system doesn't allow more complex price systems.

From rome it is easily reached with a two hour bus ride. We provide pick up service from the station on arrival and departure. You can reach the nearby town of Sora by foot within 50 min or by local bus within 10min.
During the summer we have lot's of festivals in this area. There is a lot of food, music and dancing.
We would be happy to share the beauty of this area with other people.
Italian countryside è un posto tranquillo e incantevole. Molto autentico.
Italy Country Stay was great! The property has a beautiful view, the rooms recently renovated yet rustic, and Anna is a real treat! Anna, myself, and other guests shared dinner most nights, all of which were delicious and healthy. Wine and olive oil is made on the property, and up the street, a local Shepard makes fresh ricotta. There are a few hikes to explore and the city of Sora is not too far and definitely worth spending a day in. It's also very easy to get to from Rome. It's definitely a nice change of pace from the large cities and allows you to experience a different side of Italy.
This place was awesome. Location is superb - among mountains, and there are lots of activities to do (both for free and paid). Our host Anna was very welcoming and helpful. She provided us with all the information we needed and was genuinely positive.
Highly recommended if you want to escape cities and enjoy nature.
Anna made my boyfriend and me feel very welcome, she's a great host and can give you all the information you need. She even gave us an upgrade to a room with a private bathroom.
There are a lot of activities to do, but we ended up just walking to and around Sora, enjoyed the amazing surroundings and had great dinners at the farmstay.
I enjoyed a fantastic, peaceful and quiet stay at Via Piana surrounded by the beautiful Italian countryside. Anna was very welcoming and couldn't have been more helpful, making the stay feel more like visiting a friend than staying in a guesthouse!
The bedroom, private bathroom and communal areas are clean, spacious and high quality, (although I wouldn't recommend it to someone with mobility issues - the sister guesthouse at ItalyFarmStays would be more suitable). The terrace is a great sun trap and has fantastic views across the Leri river valley. The kitchen is small but fine for cooking, and the wi-fi is reliable in the communal room.
There is plenty to do, from hikes in the Abruzzi National Park to many pretty towns and villages that are easy to reach by car. Rome and Naples are also easily reachable by public transport, which is quite inexpensive. There are also several activities available with the guests at the sister guesthouse 10 minutes walk away, as well as the opportunity to eat traditional home-cooked Italian food with them.
I had a hire car which made it easy to go into the local town or Sora to buy provisions, but it would not be a problem using public transport to get to the guesthouse (buses to Sora are frequent and cheap). Transport to and from some of the activities is provided as well.
Anna speaks excellent English as well as Italian and German
Overall, I would highly recommend staying at Via Piana, whether alone or as a family, and would definitely like to return in the future for another stay.
Me and my daughters were visiting locally to trace ancestors and visit the villages my Great grandparents came from. We based ourselves with Anna because even although it was a bit far, it sounded great. We were not disappointed. The rooms are simple, clean and elegant, with a down to earth rustic feel. The whole space is gorgeous, feels private, but you also feel part of a real, working living part of Italy: because you are!
There are plenty of things to do, and Anna has lots of maps, advice and ideas if you need to the them up. She is a great host, very helpful, warm, kind and reliable. We stayed in 3 great places on our 12 day visit, but I genuinely wish we had more days here. Lovely, and i hope i can get back sometime.
My husband and I had an incredible time at Via Piana. Not only was our stay enjoyable and relaxing, both Anna and her landlord made us feel welcome and at home. We were looking for a retreat from noisy Naples, and our weekend in Pescosolido was exactly what we needed. The room we stayed in was cozy and rustic, and the communal kitchen provides ample space for cooking and relaxing with a cup of coffee.
Upon arrival, Anna provided a great list of activities available to us, and we chose to go hiking and exploring Abruzzi National Park. The area is breathtaking, and Anna goes above and beyond to ensure you have a great time. Her dog, Neve, was also very sweet and a joy to have around. We will certainly make a point to return!
Many years ago I moved to this beautiful country and love it more every day I live here. I started a small project some years ago and opened a guesthouse with four rooms. I love my job as it gives me many different aspects to work on. Together with my landlord I am restoring this old house. It has been abandoned for about forty years so there is a lot of work to do. We really enjoy seeing the place change slowly into a beautiful welcoming house, we bring back life to it.What drives us the most is seeing how people come to stay with us and really love it.
The beauty of this project is meeting new people and connecting with them, sharing moments with them on their vacation.
