Gumusluk is one of the quiet areas in the Bodrum Peninsula. It is less crowded and more local. Our homes are situated on the grounds of an ancient city known as Myndos. Therefore Gumusluk is protected against developments. The villagers are some of the friendliest people you have ever met. So if you are ready for less touristic more local experiences, our place is just perfect for you!
SEND ME A MESAGE FOR LONG TERM STAYS IN AUTUMN AND WINTER. WE HAVE GREAT DEALS!
We love our homes and we hope you love and care like us!
Ayfer was absolutely wonderful and we felt as if she had been a long time friend from the moment we walked in her beautiful home. Gumusluk is a wonderful place if you enjoy less busy beach style village (which we definitely prefer). And her house has the most wonderful balcony and view, from which you can see the sunset. Apartment is exactly as we saw in the pictures, with nice rooms and a kitchen. Plus, you can enjoy a huge frontyard that belongs to her coffehouse and restaurant, where you can have breakfast, some drinks, dinner or just enjoy reading in the hammock.
One of the things we enjoyed the most was Gumusluk's market, I believe on Wednesdays, that brings all the most fresh and wonderful produce from the hills around. I hope to be back to Gumusluk some day, thanks Ayfer!
This is a great place with a great host. Everything was better than what we expected.
Our stay at Ayfer's place was really great. At first, Ayfer is a perfect host and her recommendations for restaurants, beaches and other places to visit have to be followed to the letter. She was also very friendly in helping us to fix some issues related to our trip. Ayfer is moreover a perfect cook and therefore, do not hesitate to ask for a lunch or dinner that she will prepare for you.
The house is really ideally located with an amazing view on the sea. Bedrooms are nicely decorated with much creativity and everything is made for you to spend some beautiful time in a nice small town that was preserved from the massive construction that unfortunately disfigured the other towns around. Of course, the balcony is not only a doorway to a beautiful landscape but also an idyllic setting to rest.
This house is highly recommended for all those who want to spend some good time in good company.
We had the most blissful time staying in Ayfer's lovely stone house. Both host and home are fantastic and would highly recommend holidaying here.
We had really a great time in Ayfer's house which is located few minutes away from Gumusluk busy restaurants and bars beach... The tiny house has everything you need to feel comfortable and relaxed, with a stunning view of the bay! Our overall experience has been very positive and we would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet and nice place but with everything at hand few steps away... last but not least: Ayfer is a great host!

About the Host, Ayfer
This is Ayfer, mother of 3 and a tour guide. I did guiding in İstanbul till I decided to become a professional mother:)) Now I live in a quite town Gumusluk and spending most of my time with my family. I love travelling, my favorite destination is Berlin and I have mostly been around all Europe. Hoping to go usa, latin america next.. I like Tom Robbins, Elif shafak and like reading all the holly books. Big Fish and The Fall are my favorites but I like watching movies anyhow. Cirque du Soleil is the show that I want to watch live! I like jazz but I also enjoy all sorts of music like traditional musics all over the world. And I enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy tasting different dishes. Having people around the world staying in our houses is a great joy for me and a great chance to exchange ideas, informations and another way of making hall world come together. My travelling idea is to go with the locals and experience the real life not the touristic part. If you think the same we are ready to welcome you in our homes as our friends:)
