The second suite is also available for rental. In total, up to eight people can stay in the two suites. The third suite is in use for serving delicious home cooking and drinks.

I will be serving food and drinks for the friends and visitors who come to share our beautiful garden, and this would give a great chance for people to come together from all over the world. I am fluent both in English and Turkish, and I am a great host with sense of humor.

Gumusluk is one of the quiet areas in the Bodrum Peninsula. It is less crowded and more local. Our homes are situated on the grounds of an ancient city known as Myndos. Therefore Gumusluk is protected against developments. The villagers are some of the friendliest people you have ever met. So if you are ready for less touristic more local experiences, our place is just perfect for you!

  • We would highly recommend staying in Ayfer's property. The house is in an excellent position with an amazing view as shown in her photo. We went in April and Gumusluk was just waking up and getting ready for the tourists. There were still plenty of places to eat and transport by Dolmus (minibus) ran regularly to Bodrum and other villages nearby. The property is simply furnished and comfortable. Ayfer, as others have commented, is an excellent host, so helpful whilst respecting your privacy. We hope to return.

  • I would wholeheartedly recommend staying with Ayfer! The space is perfectly sized, charming, and in an ideal location for seeing Gümüşlük. Ayfer was a responsible, generous and sweet host who accommodated my difficult requests. I had an excellent experience, and strongly suggest this listing to anyone traveling in the Bodrum area!

  • It was a wonderful vacation for us. When we first enter Ayfer's place we were all amazed. The secret garden and the view were gorgeous. We wanted to stay for the life time. Pictures are not as they are in real, the place is magical. Highly Highly recommend!!!

  • Ayfer was lovely and this is a great place to stay. Gumusluk is a wonderful alternative to some of the more heavily developed areas of Bodrum; it's laid back & full of character. We loved the balcony overlooking the bay!

  • Ayfer made us feel very welcome.

Our rental looked exactly like the photos, and Gumusluk is much much more than we anticipated. We were enchanted by the coast line, the people and good vibe.

  • What can we say: We loved to stay at Ayfers apartment! You have everything you need in that beautiful old stone house and an amazing view from your terrasse. A big part of the garden can be used from all guests of Ayfers house, there are hammocks and a barbecue-place. But not only the place is fantastic, also Ayfer and her family are so nice and helpful. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

  • What a beautiful house to stay in.. look no further if your wondering where to stay. Not only is this place beautiful but it feels magical too. So relaxing and warm.. Its also an easy walk to the water along with lots of great restaurants and bars not to mention some good shopping. Our host Ayfer was not only the nicest person but really made it easy to arrange pick and drop off and went out of her way to make sure the house was accommodating. This house really was one of my favorite places that we stayed in Turkey. And if had the time I can also easily live there too! So if your looking for a beautiful, quiet, clean, comfortable place to stay then look no further.. plus Ayfer will make sure your happy and content!

  • One of the most wonderful, cosiest places I have ever visited! Gümüslük itself is a nice hangout (especially in low seasons), but the stay really made our holiday! Charming rooms in an restored cottage, nice garden with plenty accommodation and an own BBQ site, amazing bay and sea view - and above all, Ayfer was the sweetest and most helpful host! We will return by next chance!

Professional Tour Guide and Mother
Hello everybody! This is Ayfer, mother of 3 and a tour guide. I did guiding in İstanbul till I decided to become a professional mother:)) Now I live in a quite town Gumusluk and spending most of my time with my family. I love travelling, my favorite destination is Berlin and I have mostly been around all Europe. Hoping to go usa, latin america next.. I like Tom Robbins, Elif shafak and like reading all the holly books. Big Fish and The Fall are my favorites but I like watching movies anyhow. Cirque du Soleil is the show that I want to watch live! I like jazz but I also enjoy all sorts of music like traditional musics all over the world. And I enjoy cooking as much as I enjoy tasting different dishes. Having people around the world staying in our houses is a great joy for me and a great chance to exchange ideas, informations and another way of making hall world come together. My travelling idea is to go with the locals and experience the real life not the touristic part. If you think the same we are ready to welcome you in our homes as our friends:)
