We are happy to share infos about Vienna, where to go, insider tips, etc. with you.
Naschmarkt is the city's famous all-week farmer's market with tons of great restaurants, cafés, and bars. We love to enjoy the place's vacation vibes, especially on a late Saturday morning.
Our location is central as can be, while still in a quiet, safe and green neighborhood:
- 5 minutes walk to Naschmarkt
- 7 minutes walk to opera and concert halls
- 10 minutes walk to old city center
- 10 mins metro ride to UN
- 5 metro stations to Schönbrunn
- easy to reach from all major train stations, and the airport
- parks nearby: Karlsplatz, Belvedere, Stadtpark, Alois Drasche Park
All major metro lines 3 mins walking distance, as well as 3 trams and 2 buses.
There really are no rules besides the golden one: treat our home as you'd like yours to be treated...
Please do not smole inside the apartment or anywhere in the building, as our landlords make a huge effort to keep the house very clean and the smell fresh. And we don't want them to feel insulted. :)
Otherwise, the main thing is that you come to our most beloved Central European city have an enjoyable stay!
About the Host, Katharina
I run a social business in financial literacy education based in Vienna, which is where I grew up and have been living for about 30 years. While I adore my city of origin, I also love traveling and getting to know other cultures; in the recent years, I spent some months in Spain, Mexico, the US, and Great Britain. My boyfriend and I enjoy traveling with airbnb / hosting airbnb guests from around the world and meeting new friends along the way.
