We have two adorable and ubersocial cats, so be prepared for a lot of playful kitty time. However, feel free to close the door on them if you need some alone time. We love meeting people from around the world and will be very happy to meet you and share experiences over coffee or a beer.

Shaili was such a great host! Warm, welcoming and caring to all your needs! she will make you feel just at home, especially if,like me, you're not used to the b and b system. Also she likes to know about your country of origin and learn new things! The house is lovely and well decorated, the room is perfect and Shaili has a special attention for everybody with even a coffee machine for guest. No doubt you'll like it very much if you chose it to stay in SLC! Thanks Shaili!
Had a very pleasant stay: a warm welcome, friendly contact... and a very comfortable bed :-)
This was my 1st time using Airbnb and I couldn't have had a better stay! Shaili and Anand are generous, easy going, friendly and lots of fun. They have two adorable cats and their home is beautiful. 5 min walk from the 209 bus which takes you downtown or 2 min walk from the 213 which goes to the U. Quiet and safe neighbourhood. I will definitely rebook with them upon my next trip to SLC.
Shaili and Anand were awesome hosts. They were warm, welcoming and made me feel at home - even invited me to have dinner with them. We had great conversation over dinner and they offered great advice and tips for my trip to Moab and Wyoming. I also loved hanging out with their super friendly kitties. The room was very cozy and the bed comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet, but very close to shopping and dining. Overall I had a great stay at Shaili and Anand's place and will definitely return if I am ever in SLC again.
What a location!
The area is just beautiful with its coffee houses and waffle shops, with all those yale, harvard, princeton-streets that are so inviting to walk and stroll around. It's close to the center, the university or the hills for hiking... You just have to go for a walk!
Thanks to Shaili's info it was so easy to finde everything and drive round the city and to the airport like the locals do.
Shaili was in close communication with me coordinating arrival times. The neighborhood is very safe. Both Shaili and Anand are friendly and personable.
Shaili and Andanan's home was lovely. I stayed with them for about a week while waiting for my apartment to be ready to move-in to during my relocation from Boston to SLC. Their home being between the 9th&9th and Sugar House neighborhoods made it easy for me to explore the "trendy" areas of Salt Lake City, and access to the highway for getting to my office was really convenient.
Their guest room was perfectly cozy and made me feel right at home.
I got into Salt Lake later at night than I had originally expected, and they had hidden a note and a key for me outside. A few minutes after I got inside the house, I brilliantly locked myself out without my car keys, their house key, or my wallet. I called Shaili and she was wonderfully gracious and instructed me how to break into her home. That is some serious hospitality!
Me(Shaili) and my husband(Anand) are academics and love research. But hold on, we do more than just serious stuff. We are outdoor enthusiasts and love music and the arts. We have two adorable cats and love pets. We love meeting people from around the world and would love to meet you over coffee or a tour of SLC.
