Interaction with Guests
We would like to sublet our place for the month of June
The apartment is located in the lively and cosmopolitan neighbourhood of Little Italy and just beside Mile-Ex. A few minutes away from the popular Jean Talon Market, beautiful Park Jarry and a 10 to 15 minutes walk to Mile End and Plateau areas. In our street you can enjoy a variety of trendy restaurants, grocery stores, and the best coffee in the city. Check out the slide show published by the New York Times on the Mile-Ex neighbourhood ( just (website hidden): New York Times In a Montreal Neighbourhood, Barbershops and Bars )
Just a short walk to the De Castelnau or Jean Talon subway stations so you can move easily all around the city. Also, the Bus 55 stops just around the corner and will take you in 15 min all way down to Old Montreal crossing through the Mile End, Plateau and Downtown neighbourhoods. If you prefer the bicycle there is a bixi station near the apartment, just around the corner. In the warmer months it's the best way to get around the city (7$/day or 15$/3days).
Other Things to Note
Parking places are easy to find in the area and free...rare in Montreal.

Have a nice stay!
This is a really lovely apartment in what I think is one of the nicest neighborhoods I've visited in all of North America: two metro stops, a fantastic food market, a variety of outstanding Italian coffee bars, and a host of other great restaurants. Walking distance to many other neighborhoods and a number of nice parks. The flat is very clean, tastefully decorated and the bed is extremely comfortable. Jarvis is a very nice cat -- and was a good friend for the week I stayed in the flat.
Really nice, clean, flat in the centre of little Italy. The location is great and as a family we really enjoyed all the parks (even a little water park!) nearby. The bedroom in the flat does look out onto St.laurent boul. So there is street noise. The terrace balcony in the back is perfect for a summer dinner. Jarvis is a great cat!
I fell in love with Bea and Isaac's apartment, neighborhood and cat! I wanted to move right in, the bed was comfy, the whole place super clean and bright and I felt totally at home.
Bea and Isaac are quiet, welcoming and relaxed, I would have liked to spend more time with them. Maybe next time!
The apartment is on a very busy street, but it was chilly so the window was closed and we heard nothing from outside. There is an excellent grocery store and coffee shop directly below the apt and a fantastic farmers market a 10 minute walk away. Great restaurants and the metro is only a 15 minute walk too, perfect.
I hope to be back soon!
I had a wonderful stay at Isaac and Bea's place.
The neighborhood was ideal to me: under the flat there's the biggest italian supermarket I ever seen abroad! Next door is the most authentic Italian cafe you could ever dream to have a genuine cappuccino in the morning, and the flat is just a few minutes from one of the nicest farmer market in Montreal (Jean Talon). The subway station direct to the central bus station is not just next door (but it's less than 10 minutes walking so...easy), anyway one of the most interesting bus line (55) is quite in front of the flat, so once again, that's ideal.
Definitely the best area to stay!
The flat is nicely decorated, with very good taste and delicacy. The room is really super cosy, perfectly clean and same for the rest of the flat, including the bathroom. Bea and Isaac are very welcoming hosts, very nice and thoughtful. Jarvis, their cat is adorable.
A space in the fridge, a big chest of drawer and even a warderobe are made free to store your clothes. WIFI is also available in the room, what to ask more?
Everything was perfect. Thank you so much for letting me stay! If I come back one day, I would love to stay at Bea and Isaac's place again.
Isaac and Bea were lovely hosts, happy to answer questions that we had about getting around Montreal, and provided a great clean room. They were also very friendly, accommodating and helped to find free parking on the streets nearby. Loved that the place was central to 2 train stations and a bus stop around the corner. Walking distance to Jean-Talon Market. Highly recommend the place, and the hosts - thanks for having us!
We had a fantastic stay at Isaac and Bea's light-filled apartment in Little Italy, a very vibrant neighborhood! The apartment is very handy to the metro and the bus service. Isaac and Bea were on hand with recommendations for everything in the area and beyond. We also enjoyed the company of their friendly cat Jarvis!
Beatriz and Isaac are the best hosts we ever had! Isaac welcomed us (although we were an hour late from the initial check in time) and gave a tour of their beautiful apartment. We felt like we were staying in a hotel. Very clean, neat and beautifully arranged. The apartment is also conveniently located to the main attractions of the city. One bus away from the must-go neighbourhoods and 10 minutes walk from the station. Communication was great with these two and they gave so many great recommendations of where to go and where to eat. We are certainly recommending them to our friends!
