We are proud to mention that the 17th century canal ring are on the UNESCO World Heritage List. During your stay in this beautiful apartment, you will enjoy all that Amsterdam has to offer. A friend and I made a very last minute decision to go to D'am for the NYE festivities which made things more chaotic than necessary! But when it came to Robert and his apartment - it was the complete opposite. Never more than a text message away, Robert treated me as if we'd been friends for years; constant communication, recommendations for parties and with a greatly received bottle of wine upon arrival!
The apartment was very clean and superbly presented! If anything, we didn't spend enough time in there. If we ever head back to D'am Robert will be the first person we contact!
Great apartment, exactly as described, easy to get to centre, good cafe nearby. Robert very helpful during visit. Would definitely recommend.
The apartment was beautiful and very clean. Robert was very courteous and the whole experience was positive.
Let me start with Roberts's apt. It was chic, comfortable, very well located for transportation - it was home away from home. The description and pictures of the apt were spot on! What we were expecting was exactly what we got. Bathroom was modern and the shower was perfect after a long day of walking and biking =) The kitchen was great to cook in, the living room area and bedroom were bright and airy. It was an amazing place to stay!
Putting the great apt aside, we want to share some kind words about our host. Robert was truly a gentleman. Our transit flight was cancelled in Germany, and instead we had to drive to Amsterdam from Frankfurt. Not only was the flight cancelled, my luggage was lost. Due to our circumstances, we would arrive later than discussed. Robert relieved our stress and said not to worry as he would be available to meet us whenever we arrived. He went to the store and bought some fruits, crackers/jam, and a welcome drink =) During our stay, he was always available if we had questions and he helped translate the settings on the washing machine!
All in all, we had a great stay! Thank you Robert for helping us get a great first impression of Amsterdam =)
Wow, what an apartment. Hi-tech, clean and comfortable. Robert was an exceptional and honorable host. He allowed us to check in early, had a bottle of wine waiting for us, and was always available by phone or email to answer any questions. This is a top rated place that should only be rented by people that can appreciate a quality apartment from a wonderful host. I can't wait to go back. Thank you Robert and Rene, jim
