This can be your private layover spot while visiting Cody, WY. We are located approximately 60 miles away from the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park and just 16 miles from the town of Cody that features the Buffalo Bill museum of the West , Buffalo Bill Dam, Old Trail Town, Art Galleries, Nightly rodeo or fine dining.
Located 16 miles southwest of Cody, WY, this studio styled cabin is exactly what you need to relax and enjoy a western get-a-way. With room for two queen beds, the wrap around porch extends to extra living space with a summer kitchen, supplied with a camp style outdoor cooking area featuring; a microwave, electric skillet, induction cook top, toaster, coffee pot, full sized refrigerator, gas BBQ grill and cast iron wood cook stove. There is also additional seating area to relax and enjoy the views. Plenty of supplies to make your stay, memorable, relaxing and unique. With no running water, this cabin allows you to experience a blast from the past. The cabin is heated with a wood burning stove. Summer kitchen supplied with cast iron wood cook stove, cowboy wash basin and outdoor privy....the cabin is located only a few feet away from the main log house for bathroom/shower facilities located downstairs available for use between 7am - 9pm.
The spacious wrap around porch extends to an outdoor living area, allows for a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views, listening to the flow of the Shoshone river as well as watching various wildlife passing through the meadow. Its the perfect spot for star gazing too!
Just a few miles up the road is access to both Carter Mountain and Sheep Mountain that are great for sight seeing, hiking, fishing, and all the activities that Cody has to offer. We are located southwest of Cody you won't be disappointed by this quiet get-a -way located approximately 16 miles out of town and one mile off the main highway on a gravel road.
Guest have access in the main house for bathroom/shower located downstairs during the day from 7 am - 9pm. After evening hours there is an outdoor privy for nightly use. We also have an outdoor shower with hot water located in the Aspen Trees in the yard. If interested let us know.

We are located 16 miles Southwest of Cody in a rural area. It is important that you follow our directions given, our location can be hard to find in late evening hours, it is helpful to arrive before dark but not necessary.
East entrance to Yellowstone can take up to two hours depending on sightseeing along the way.
You will need your own transportation to reach our location

NOTE: It is important that you use our directions to find our location, Gps does work but can miss direct you. We understand traveling can bring you in late. Always let us know if this is the case. If arriving late in the evening, it is important you follow our directions. This includes any shortcut GPS may propose, it has gotten guest's lost.
You will travel one mile on gravel road once on Whitney Drive
Wi-fi and cell service is available but is slow and sporadic due to our location.
There is a list of things to know and wi-fi password posted on clip board in cabin.

No smoking on premises...sorry
Bathroom facilities are shared, out of respect for our other guest, we ask that you pick up/clean up after yourselves and bring wet towels up for laundering. If staying more than one night, clothes line is provided for hanging towels to dry and reuse. We also have an outdoor shower, if interested please ask and we will be glad to show you the set up.
Respect the property and animals living on it. Pets including dogs, cats, and horses are beautiful to watch but please respect their space.
