Nestled against the Whittier Hills, enjoy the beautiful views with your coffee followed by a hike in the fresh morning air. Enjoy a rural setting in an urban environment. Wildlife abounds in this urban setting including birds, deer and rabbits in addition to our 2 friendly dogs and outdoor cats.
Your room sleeps 4 comfortably. A pillow top full size double bed sleeps 2 and a pillow top twin bed sleeps 1. A deluxe twin pillow top air bed can be added to accommodate 4 people total. It also comes with free parking, free wifi and a private full bathroom adjacent. A continental breakfast is provided daily as well which can be enjoyed from your own private patio, any comfy cozy spot around the grounds or in the main house if you prefer.
Located within walking distance to the Uptown Village, Whittier College and Kaplan English School at Whittier College. Biola College is only a short 10 minute drive away. Rio Hondo College and Police Academy is just around the corner. Your room offers a perfect place to relax and enjoy your stay if you are visiting family, friends or have an event at the College.
In addition to being centrally located between Disneyland and Universal Studios, you are only 20 minutes from the LA Fashion District, LA Convention Center, Downtown LA, LA Live, Staples Ceter ( home of the Lakers) , Coliseum, USC, Exposition Park / Museums, only 10 minutes to Citadel Outlet Mall, Friendly Hills and Industry Hills Golf courses. .
You have easy access to 2 major freeways that will take you to all of the sites in Los Angeles within 30 minutes such as Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice beach, Malibu and everything in between.
You can also enjoy hiking, running or world class mountain biking in our local Whittier hills on the trails made famous by world champion Tinker Juarez. In fact, you just might see him riding past our house each morning.
Whittier, the home of former President, Richard Nixon is rich in cultural heritage and boasts an historical district which is within walking distance if you are looking for restaurants, shopping, or even want to take in a movie or just have a glass of wine at the Bottle Room.

We enjoy meeting our guests and getting to know where they are from, but we are also respectful of your privacy and busy schedule.
We are located in a very quite and safe neighborhood nestled up against the Whittier Hills, with plenty of free parking. There are nature trails for hiking and biking just down the street. The Historic District of Uptown Whittier with restaurants, coffee houses, shopping and Whittier College is just a short walk away.
Freeway access is a easy few minutes away from the house. You can walk to the Metro Bus Line , which will connect you to the Metro Rail Lines. Just a note: LA is a very large city and it is still best to travel by car if you want to see all the tourist sites or try Uber or Lyft to get around town.
