Francesco's apartment is beautiful, spacious, and very clean. There were tons of amenities (lots of towels, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, tea, coffee, extra toilet paper, 3 sets of keys etc.) that helped us feel right at home.
Despite Italy's bizarre restrictions on heating in private apartments (max 9 hours per day, max 20 degrees Celsius), Francesco was incredibly accommodating when we wanted to have the heating timer changed so that we had heating during the night. His girlfriend came over right away to change the timer and the apartment was nice and cozy while we were sleeping.
The check-in was very easy--Eleonora met us at the apartment and showed us where everything was. She also responded to emails right away whenever we had any questions. Checking out is also very easy--we could just leave the keys in the apartment and leave. Unfortunately, when we were checking out, we left a bag in the apartment and locked ourselves out. We called Eleonora and she had the housekeeper come right away and open the door for us. We are so appreciative of this!! Not to mention, we broke a lamp in the apartment and Francesco was very nice about it and let us know right away how much it cost for the replacement.
We feel like we were terrible guests, but Francesco and Eleonora could not have been nicer. We highly recommend this apartment! It is especially great for bigger groups (we were five) since its very spacious and there are three sets of keys! We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Florence!
The Toscanella apartment was great! I spent four days with my family at the flat over Christmas. Wonderful location, very clean and spacious.
La estancia en el apartamento de Florencia fue memorable. El espacio es genial, la localización perfecta. La recepción por Eleonora no podia ser mejor, nos sentimos realmente en casa. Todo positivo, todo funcionando, todo limpio, realmente sensacional!!!
