Underground station "Schwanthalerhöhe" U4 and U5 in walking distance.

The trendy neighbourhood is called Westend (or "Schwanthalerhöhe"). You will find supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants and pretty cafes in walking distance. Very nice locations for breakfast or a cup of coffee.
A mobile baby bed is available upon request.
Enjoy your stay!
1.) I kindly ask you to take shoes off - the unsealed wooden floor is pretty, but very soft and unforgiving (especially high heels).
2.) Smoking is strictly not allowed in my apartment. Please use the balkony.
3.) Please don't upset my neighbours - I like them a lot and really don't want them to hate me for renting out.
Apart from this - don't do anything you would not do at home, and feel welcome in my apartment. See you soon!
Our stay at Sunny's place was great. The apartment is clean and well done. We found we had plenty of space even with 4 adults. The location is close to public transport and is walk-able to many restaurants/cafes. Sunny herself was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. Great place to stay when visiting Munich.
Sunny was an amazing host and left very detailed instructions and helped ensure that we had a great Munich experience. Key pick up and drop off was easy and the apartment was clean and prepared for the four of us. Sunny even provided us with a data only sim card which was super useful and made it easy to look up things around town. Although we didn't use it, parking was also provided.
The apartment was as pictured and very cozy.
Would definitely stay with Sunny again!
Great place. Sunny is amazing and thinks of the things that you probably haven't.
Sonja's apartment is clean and spacious, with great kitchen facilities and supplies. Although we didn't meet Sonja in person, she was very friendly and helpful over the phone, and the key pickup was simple. We can recommend Sonja's apartment for anyone staying in Munich!
About the Host, Sunny
I love learning languages and visiting new places, including Tokio, Bolivia or Peru.
Until now, I only had a great experience with all AirBnB-guests and that is why I am looking forward to welcome you here, too!
It is not nice atmosphere, but very cheap shopping if you need something basic at low cost.
Bread shop. Germans are proud of their bread. Try the "Krustenbrot" or "Weizenmischbrot" to understand why.
Mind the general shop opening times in Germany: typically 9 to 20h.
If you want some Indian food, I can recommend this restaurant, also for take away.
My favourite: butter chicken!
Public transport (streetcar / tram) taking you to the city center (any line) in just 6 minutes!
Another activity if the weather is not too good: for 20 € you can have an all day access pass to the gym around the corner of my flat. Treadmill, Stepper, weights, classes....
Icecream! If it is hot, this is where to go for yummy ice cream.
One of my favourite coffeeshops. Very cool and cozy at the same time. All furniture has a price tag for you to purchase on the spot, so watch out nobody buys the chair you are sitting on! ;)
Super yummy pizza. Enjoy!
French patisserie anyone?
Expensive, but nice bakery with French specialties.
Very Bavarian food. If the weather is nice, perhaps go to the roof terrace?
And for sure: try the beer!
For your loved ones, you have some sledges and playground tools here.
Tiny coffeeshop. Laid back crowd goes there.
My second favourite coffee shop next to Marais. A must-go for the gateaux and cakes!
The second name of the shop is "fuck the backmischung". Backmischung means baking mix.
Saturn and Mediamarkt are the largest electronics retail shops in Germany.
This Saturn market has a huge choice of electronics. Perhaps something is cheaper here than in your home country?
Public transport (underground) taking you to the city. Lines U4 and U5.
Used to be a milk shop in the post-war times. The owner allowed for it to become a sweet little coffee shop, but he still lives behind a back door of the Café. Very sweet!
Just in case you did not find it yourself. ;)
If the weather is nice, why not sit next to this small little lake in the Westpark?
Love the food, great huge portions of Gyros, modern and light interior. Yummy!
Very fresh, original Japanese food. The interior is not the most fancy one, but the chef (not his helpers) are Japanese, which really reflects in the best in town sushis. Rather cheap, too!
Modern Art at it's finest.
Go on Sunday, because the entry ticket is really cheap then (I think 1 €).
I love this laid-back biergarten. And get this: in biergartens, when sitting on a bench (not on chairs), you can bring your own food (salads, sausages, etc.), and you only need to buy the cold drinks!
Want to join the rich and famous? In this street, you have all the Guccis and Armanis. In summertime, it is lovely to look down the street to the "Maximilaneum".
Pricey, but an absolute must see of Munich: the Viktualienmarkt is the best place to buy fresh, artisan, local food, vegetables, fruit or - in one of the most original Biergartens - beer.
Very nice and historical spot. Enter the English Garten from here or walk up the "Leopoldstraße", where you bypass the University and head for Schwabing, Munich's famous former artist district.
Best spot to buy traditional Bavarian costumes last minute. Will be crowded during Oktoberfest of course, but take the glass of champagne they sometimes provide free of charge and take your time.
Weather is bad? If you like to take a swim in a really impressive historic environment, go here. It is over 100 years old and you can easily imagine women with full-body-swimsuits around 1900.
If you like cars, you will love this spot. All about BMW, the most fancy cars and history. Also, if you are into photography, this spot is amazing and well known for it's fancy light.
This is Englischer Garten at it's finest. Enjoy this Biergarten during sunset and watch ducks, nature and handsome Germans while sipping on a cold beer.
Oh this is clearly one of the best spots for breakfast. Huge choice, very pretty and charming interior, you can also sit outside. Unfortunately, it is quite a way from my place, but worth it.
Gigantic waterpark, pools, Sauna, slides, Spa...
This is perfect for a rainy day to relax.
