All dishes, pots and pans available for guests can be found in the guest area of the kitchen. However, we do ask that you clean up after you use the kitchen. You should label your personal food items with your name. All food should be put away covered and in plastic food storage containers. Please avoid putting away food on plates, bowls or other kitchen dishware for sanitary as well as space storage reasons.
Front door protocol: please do not open the door. Staff is on hand for such purposes, so you don't need to worry when the bell rings. Please do not let strangers in or allow other people to pass through the door with you. If you are expecting guests, please alert a member of the staff, or, if they are coming after normal working hours (9 am - 6 pm), be ready to let them in yourself so the other guests will not be disturbed.
For a separate cost, our staff will arrange to have your laundry done for you at a nearby laundry, and it will be delivered to your room. Rooms will be cleaned once every other day. If you'd like to change the schedule for when your room is cleaned, speak with the Director of the Center.
Please do not ask our staff to run errands for you.
Tipping: Mexican custom is to tip the staff. The customary rate is of 50 pesos per day but that is up to you. Give this tip directly to the Director of the Center; she will distribute to the staff evenly. Please let us know in advance if this would be a hardship for you or if you do not wish to tip.
