Our stay at Rosas aparment was great! location , clean and well equiped. Rosa was there when we arrived and explained all we needed to know. We had a very good time there!
Really great location. Everything in walking distance. Great bakery just across the street for cornettos. I certainly recommend staying here.
Lovely flat with everything we needed - used the kitchen every day for breakfast and making dinner, comfy bed, comfy sofa bed, good wifi connection, DVD player, washing machine.
Its a convenient location and you can walk to almost all the main attractions in Rome (about 40 minutes walk to the Vatican is the furthest we walked). If you prefer to go by public transport, its an easy walk to Circo Massimo (10-15 minutes) or get the number 8 tram straight up Viale Trastevere. For northern Rome (Villa Borghese etc), public transport probably best!
Trastevere is a lovely area to walk around itself. It has lots of local amenities such as local supermarket and small shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, gelato shops etc.
Rosa was very friendly when we met her at the beginning of the stay and showed us everything we needed. Also good communication before we arrived.
One thing to note if you are a light sleeper - the bedroom faces out onto the street and it can be noisy at night, especially Friday and Saturday evenings. Its mostly people talking and sometimes some music. We did not find this a problem as its nice to hear the local life, and also we can sleep with the noise, but something to bear in mind if you want silence!
Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Rome :)
We had a lovely stay at Rosa's place! A really nice and clean apartment in a very good area. Good restaurants are close by and we just walked from there to all the different sights. Rosa was also really friendly when she handed us the keys and she even provided us with drinks and cookies. We totally recommend her place!!
The location is absolutely perfect and the apartment is nice and clean. It is small but good for a couple, or a couple and a small child.
Location is incredible. Nearby to restaurants and all the action of Trastevere/rest of Rome (1.5 mile to Coliseum, 1 mile to Piazza Navona)
Very comfortable bed
Rosa left us breads, buttes, jams, and juice for breakfast
Noisy in the mornings
Had some problems with the internet
Washing machine wasn't great
It wasn't easy to get a hold of Rosa because she doesn't have a smartphone but she responded within a couple of hours if we had any questions.
We would absolutely stay here again. It is recommended!
We arrived easily at Rosa's apartment with the bus H from Termini. She met us with the keys and explained what we needed to know and gave us some tips on grocery stores. Rosa is very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with her! The apartment is in a great location, clean, and basic. We were there three nights and walked everywhere in 10-30 min. There are several small restaurants and a cafe right on the same street, as well as a small store for some provisions (wine). We shopped at the Campo market and other small shops and ended up making all of our meals at home--the kitchen is well equipped for small meals. Until about 1am, the street was loud due to the restaurants, but after that it quieted down. The bed is comfortable with lots of pillows. There is no A/C but the ceiling fans help keep it cool. The shower is small, but the water pressure/temperature is good. The water in Rome is very fresh and pleasant for drinking, so we kept filled water bottles in the fridge. We would definitely stay here in Trastevere again and highly recommend the flat for a more local experience of Roma! Thank you, Rosa!
Rosa was a very nice host for us. The appartement is comfortable, good equipped, very clean and in a perfect location for discovering rome. Very close to the centro storico. A littel shop across the street. Public transport in walking distance and a lot of good restaurants around. A littel noisy in the evening but we would defenitely go there again when ever we return to rome.
I had a great experience with this apartment. Rosa was fantastic and very helpful in getting settled in. It was only after I arrived that I realized how great the location was, you can walk to every main attraction in the city. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to be in a part of central rome and see the sights.
Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux, l'accueil de Rosa est très sympathique et chaleureux, dans un appartement douillet et fonctionnel, dans un quartier vivant et en plein centre de Rome, proche de tout ce qui peut se visiter. Merci Rosa.
The apartment was tidy and was equipped to a good standard. The beds were really comfortable. The area was really lively with plenty of restaurants and cafes. It was a little noisy late at night but wouldn't stop us staying here again. It was really useful having a local shop across the road to buy day to day provisions. All the main sites of Rome were easily accessible from the apartment.
