Bridge Cabin and the Lil Bridge Cabin, your private getaway awaits. A unique vacation cabin for creatives and creative supporters alike. Located in the hills of Parimin on the Caribbean island of Trinidad and Tobago, the Bridge Cabin overlooks the tranquil ocean of the Caribbean Sea with expansive views of the forest. This modern space cabin was designed and constructed by renowned visual artist GA Gardner and was once used as his personal retreat and art studio.

The space
The property consists of a large cabin of approximately 1160 square feet upstairs connected by a 50-foot wood and steel bridge. There are over 500 feet of glass in the cabin that often goes from floor to ceiling. There are 3 industrial ceiling fans and one standing fan. There is one main bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a secondary sleeping loft area with low ceiling heights that is only accessible via ladder-like stairs. Up there you will find a queen-sized floor mattress. There are 2 full bathrooms. The main bathroom has a large soaking tub and overlooks the Caribbean Sea and forest. It also contains a separate shower, single sink, and toilet. The second bathroom consists of a shower, sink, and toilet. The living room and main bedroom have approximately 12ft ceilings. There are mosquito nets built into all windows and glass doors with the exception of the front door, which is 8-feet high. There is a full galley kitchen with a microwave vent, electric stove, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, garbage disposal, and sink. All cooking utensils are stored in cabinets. The living room seamlessly adjoins the dining room with seats 6. The couch faces the ocean so that guests can enjoy a full ocean view without stepping out to the open-air deck. There are sun lounges out on the 200 sqft deck where guests can enjoy a similar view to that of the public Paramin lookout. There are no stairs in the entire except for the ladder to the secondary sleeping loft area. Just to hear the birds on the deck or have this excellent panoramic ocean and forest view, or feel the cool crisp fresh air against your skin are some things we all should experience. It is why I what to share this space with you for a limited time.

Lil Bridge Cabin: There is a second cabin below that we call Lil Bridge Cabin. This cabin sleeps 2 additional guests. It is used only as an overflow for larger guests parties that exceed 4 people. The Lil Bridge Cabin adds 640 square feet to guests' living space and comprises a separate private entrance, a full bathroom, living room, serving kitchen, dining area, queen-sized bed, and art activity area, all in an open floor plan loft with 12ft ceilings with exposed steel beams and greenheart wood. With the Lil Bridge Cabin, the total combined space is approx. 1800 square feet and it now sleeps 6. Like the main Bridge Cabin, the Lil Bridge Cabin has lots of glass windows that allow for endless light and great ocean and forest views

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a wood cabin and it does breathe through the small groves in the wood so you may find extra dust particles ending your space throughout your stay. Second, the wifi we provide is all that is available to us via Digicel our service provider. Guests are somewhat off the grid so the infrastructure for cable and internet is not great. You will receive wifi via a wireless wifi system that comes and goes with the wind. You will also not have a proper cell phone signal during your stay. Digicel phones get a better signal in this area. But all cell phones have problems in this area. We are fighting nature to bring this place to you, but nature is constantly fighting back in the form of sea blasts and extreme weather conditions that can age the cabin quickly.

Hi, I am GA Gardner artist, owner, and designer of the Bridge Cabin. I am currently the director of Gartsy, LLC an art lifestyle company headquartered in the USA. I am also an art professor, author, and motivational speaker. I earned a Ph.D. in art education from the Ohio State University, a MA, and BA from San Francisco State University. I enjoy traveling and meeting new people and learning their history and the history of the world. I am a student of life. The Bridge Cabin was my former residence and it represents how I live...close to the earth, relaxed and peaceful. Hopefully, a stay at the Bridge Cabin can help you to continue your journey in this direction of seeking inner peace and mindfulness.
