A great place for students, backpackers, young couples! Come stay with me in the historic Lower East Side of Manhattan. Right under the Williamsburg bridge, the neighborhood is a great mix of the Jewish, Hispanic, and Chinese communities. We're a five minute walk to either Chinatown, the East Village, Williamsburg Brooklyn, and close to subways for quick access to the rest of Manhattan! The apartment itself is a loft above a 24-hour deli in a very safe area, and the F, D and B trains are a short walk away. New to New York? I love showing my guests around the city and getting them oriented. Full bed sleeps two, and I also have a futon in the living room for a third (no extra charge for a third person!).
I had a wonderful stay at Robert's place!! It was clean, the room was exactly as described in the ad, and the apartment was in a really great location. Rob was amazing as a host - he took care of everything perfectly and was very accommodating with all of my requests. You can tell that he actually enjoys interacting with his guests and puts a lot of effort into making sure they have an enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend staying with him!!! Thank you Rob!
Rob was a great host and the room was very nice. It's very close to the Tenement museum and the great Katz deli (best pastrami in the world!). I'll definitely recommend all my friends to look up Rob's airbnb listing if they're ever headed to NYC.
Being the first time we used airbnb, my sister and I were worried sleeping at a stranger's house would not be a good idea. Far from! Rob is the loveliest host we could have asked for, we made ourselves at home right away and Rob made sure we felt at home too. The apartment is cosy and a short distance from a subway stop. We stayed for a whole week and the apartment was a great place to go back to after a hectic day of walking around. I truly loved the experience and will definitely use airbnb again and will for sure contact Rob again next time im in the city. I would not hesitate one second to recommend Rob's place to any of my friends and family, that's how happy we were :)
Although I never met Robert, he communicated all the logistics well the flat was clean and inviting. I would recommend working with him to anyone.
Rob was great, very friendly and an interesting guy, and very helpful but also gave me space if I wanted it.
well what can we say! we stayed 12 days.
We thought Robert was a real darling, he showed real care towards us, made us pancakes on the first night, showed us around town.
There was 3 of us, our 18 yr old daughter Poppy slept on the couch,
I thought it was a bit cramped with the 3 of us ( and
I think Robert may have thought this also, although he didn't say). However Poppy loved it, and loved Robert!
His place is basic, clean, warm and close to everything. Well worth the money.
I ended up buying an old fretless banjo on the last day there, enjoyed playing some music with Robert, wish we could have done some more.
I recommend this place, go for it!!!!
Rob was amazing. Such a great human. He was only too happy to show me around the city. The room was clean and comfortable as was the house. Totally recommend it to anyone.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Robert's for one night. Everything with check-in went smoothly. The area was great, and Robert was incredibly nice and accommodating. He even offered us waffles and cereal in the morning even though he was running late for class.
I spent several days at Rob's place. Rob was a very sweet guy and a great host! The apartment is in a nice neighborhood and conveniently located near the subway. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to stay in NYC and would definitely stay here again on my next visit!
