Art-filled Studio with piano (regularly tuned) and covered outdoor porch, bath, kitchen and separate entrance. Close to downtown Boulder, CU and Naropa. Newly added strong/dedicated wifi. Perfect for people who work remotely.
New Studio Loft walkable to CU and Naropa Campuses, Boulder Creek Bike Path, the famous McGucken Hardware, Pearl Street Mall, and dozens of top restaurants. Close (but not too close) to CU and Boulder High School sports facilities. Near Bolder Boulder finish line.
Newly added strong/dedicated wifi. Perfect for those who work remotely
The studio is upstairs above garage, completely separate from the main house, providing total privacy. The red oak floors give everything a nice warm glow in this garden cottage loft. A large porch provides a place to relax and enjoy summer evenings or sunny winter afternoons.
This studio has all the conveniences of a hotel room and more: kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, small appliances and fridge, all necessary dishes and silverware; free Wi-Fi; and HD cable TV. It's warm and cozy in the winter, and with AC it's blessedly cool in the summer. Private bath with shower.
Piano is a fun feature.

Interaction with Guests
We live in the house in front of the Studio and are available and often greet our guests as we're working in the garden but self check-in and check-out.
Walkable to almost everything in Boulder. Mixed, including families and students--both CU and Naropa students. Not suburbia.
Bus is block and half away but walking is best bet. We also provide bikes to guests who want to bike.
Other Things to Note
We have two large Great Dane dogs. They are friendly but not intrusive and spend most of the time inside our house. Many of our guests are not even aware of their presence, but because of their size they can startle on first appearance.
- Smoking on the deck only.
- No pets.
- Clean sheets and towels at beginning of visit, not daily.
- Coffee/Tea available; no other food or meals provided.
Jerrie's studio was fantastic and we had everything we needed to love our stay in Boulder. We were visiting the CU campus and the studio was perfectly located to walk to campus as well as downtown Boulder. If my daughter accepts her offer, this will be my home away from home. Many thanks Jerrie.
Lovely bright and well equipped studio in a very central location. All arrangements worked very well and communication was very good.
We had a wonderful stay at Jerrie's studio, it looks beautiful in pictures but our experience far exceeded what was advertised. The location could not be beat, the space was cozy, sun-filled and had everything you could need and more for your stay. The bikes available for guests were an extremely useful bonus.
We look forward to our next trip back to Boulder and our stay at the Studio!
Jerrie Hurd's Studio is exceptional--clean, beautifully decorated, and as well equipped as a hotel room costing three times the money. The apartment and the yard have enough admirable art to qualify as a fine little gallery. I recommend the Studio heartily to anyone visiting Boulder.
We enjoyed our stay at Jerrie's place! The room was very nice and clean. The kitchen was fully equipped which is great for us because we mainly made all our meals in the room. We brought our 14 month old son and he had plenty of space to move around and play. We absolutely LOVED the deck. We actually only saw Jerrie a couple of times and she was very kind. It was very centrally located, very close to the Pearl street area and only about a 10 min drive (with traffic) from good hiking areas. The only thing that could use improvement was the wifi, it was very slow. Overall we totally enjoyed our stay!
Jerrie, her husband, and her dogs were all very welcoming. The studio apartment was perfect; the clean sheets and towels provided would be more than enough for a month. It really is within walking distance to museums, restaurants, and the breweries that adorn Boulder. The apartment makes a great retreat when you need a day-in also; Jerrie's books, book choices, movie selection, and artwork make the studio an enchanting get-a-way.
