Art-filled Studio with covered outdoor space, bath, kitchen and separate entrance. Close to downtown Boulder, CU and Naropa.
New Studio Loft walkable to CU and Naropa Campuses, Boulder Creek Bike Path, the famous McGucken Hardware, Pearl Street Mall, and dozens of top restaurants. Close (but not too close) to CU and Boulder High School sports facilities. Near Bolder Boulder finish line.
The studio is upstairs above garage, completely separate from the main house, providing total privacy. The red oak floors give everything a nice warm glow in this garden cottage loft. A large porch provides a place to relax and enjoy summer evenings or sunny winter afternoons.
This studio has all the conveniences of a hotel room and more: kitchenette with dishwasher, microwave, small appliances and fridge, all necessary dishes and silverware; free Wi-Fi; and HD cable TV. It's warm and cozy in the winter, and with AC it's blessedly cool in the summer. Private bath with shower.
Not really suitable for small children. Ask first.
- Queen sized bed with pillow-top mattress
-Temporary Parking Pass Available for on-street parking
-Near Bolder Boulder Finish Line
-Walkable to CU Football games (easy walk)
Guests have access to the deck, yard, and bicycles in addition to the studio itself. The main house and garage are generally off limits.
Interaction with Guests
We live in the house in front of the Studio and are available and often greet our guests as we're working in the garden but self check-in and check-out.
Walkable to almost everything in Boulder. Mixed, including families and students--but CU and Naropa students. Not suburbia.
Bus is block and half away but walking is best bet. We also provide bikes to guests who want to bike.
Other Things to Note
We have two large Great Dane dogs. They are friendly but not intrusive and spend most of the time inside our house. Many of our guests are not even aware of their presence, but because of their size they can startle on first appearance.
- Smoking on the deck only.
- No pets.
- Clean sheets and towels at beginning of visit, not daily.
- Coffee/Tea available; no other food or meals provided.
- Additional guest accommodated by single (real) mattress on the floor.
I really loved this central located studio with lot of lights and a wonderful piano with warm sound. The host Jerrie is a photographer and her arts on the walls and interesting books gave this studio a lovely energy. I can´t wait to return!
This studio was so cozy, comfortable and well appointed. Jerrie had everything I could possibly need for an amazing stay in Boulder. The kitchenette was well appointed, comfy bed, strong internet, beautiful art and wonderful light. If felt like my own home and I'll definitely be back next time I am in Boulder!
Excellent space and location relative to Boulder area. Accurate description and clear instructions made this stay a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here because it met our needs and provided the independence we desire.
Perfect little cottage. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to all of our family and friends!
Jerrie and her husband are such fabulous hosts, they are super considerate and the studio has everything you need for a week long stay (including fridge and cooking supplies). The location of the studio is ideal because it is only 10-20 minutes walking to all of the best restaurants, coffee, and sights to see in Boulder. It is a very comfortable space for two people and is brightly decorated so it remains cheerful even on winter days. Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful, cozy little cottage. I only wished I had been able to hang out there while the snow fell. With 2 daughters at CU Boulder now, this is where I'll return to. Thanks!
