The space
Casinha Secreata offers an open space with lounge, dining room and kitchen, equipped with fridge + freezer, combi-microwave oven, espresso machine, dishwasher and the necessary utensils.
The sliding window opens onto the cosy terrace with outdoor shower, where you can enjoy the lovely climate. Through the corridor you pass the bathroom, equipped with sink, walk-in shower and toilet.
Behind the bathroom is a storage room with washing machine, iron and ironing board and space to put suitcases, etc. At the end of the corridor is the bedroom, equipped with a double bed and spacious built-in wardrobe.
For short stays, or a family with children, the sofa in the living room can accommodate 2 extra people.

Santa Luzia is more than just a fishing village... It is the "Capital do Polvo" (capital of the Octopus), as you can see from its many terraces.
You will also find opportunities for water activities and can enjoy a quiet spot somewhere on the 12 km long beach, divided between "Praia do Barril", "Terra Estreita" & "Ilha de Tavira".
From the village's small coastal promenade, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the fishing port and the boats anchored in the Ria Formosa (the nature reserve along the coastline of the Eastern Algarve). Not only do fishing boats leave here, but you can also take the ferry or water taxi to "Terra Estreita", for example, or a tourist train to "Praia do Barril". On these beautiful, quiet beaches, located in the nature reserve Ria Formosa, you never lie close to your neighbour and there are several beach pavilions.
The location of Santa Luzia lends itself perfectly to visits to Tavira & Olhão, but it doesn't stop there. From here you can not only visit coastal villages, but also inland into the mountains.
So, whether you like walking, cycling or car touring... You can do it all here.
From Ayamonte further into Spain as far as Seville, towards Faro and further into the Western Algarve, or inland into the province "Alentejo" above, it is all possible.
