Other Things to Note
If you are 2 people renting but require BOTH rooms, please be aware that the price will be the same as a booking made for 3 people. Booking 2 rooms is obviously more expensive than one.
I will NOT discuss the price if you have no/bad reviews or if you're staying less than 5 days.
Breakfast is not included
Always TBC since I don't work regular hours.
Before 10 am - Monday to Friday
Before noon (12pm) - Saturday and Sunday
@ Strictly no smoking indoors.
@ Please do not wear shoes anywhere inside the apartment (the living areas and your rooms).
@ Be careful with water! Don't let water drip on the floor as this creates ugly water stains on the hardwood floors. (but never fear! there's always a sponge nearby to wipe the water. This leaves no stains)
@ You may use the kitchen and the fridge, but please do not use large amounts of oil that splatters everywhere on the walls.
@I believe we can live comfortably and in an eco-friendly way, so I appreciate moderate use of water (shorter showers) and electricity (turn it off if you're not in the room). I also recycle everything. I invite my guests to enjoy a healthy and eco-friendly stay at my apartment!
@Any damage beyond fair wear and tear is at the guest's expense, payable before or at check-out.
This really is a beautiful apartment. Larissa is an excellent host. She is warm, kind and helpful. Highly recommended and greatly appreciated.
Thank you Larissa.
Larissa was great, as was the apartment and the area. Thanks Larrisa!!!!!!!!
Larissa's home is absolutely amazing. Everything is so pretty and well decorated. Larissa is a very good host, very smiling and full of good energy.
The home is well located and you can find everything around.
I definitely recommend you to stay here.
Thanks Larissa !
We stayed at Larissa's place during a full month while our new appartment was not finished on time and we had to leave the sold one. Although we considered ourselves as locals (the place is only 3 k from our place, we loved the walking sessions in the evening in the beatiful parks and forest in Wilrijk. The place is very well located at the main junction of lots of highways going in all directions. there is a ood public transport connection to go into Antwerp city. Although Larissa was away during our stay, we had very easy contact with her mother to arrange practical stuff. The place is very clean, the beds are great quality, and the design is tastefull. Not really our style (we like minimalistic) but we could appreciate the personal touch. In the end we really had a good time in this annoying period in between homes. I would recommand to stay in Larissa's place.
Larissa is an amazing host! she was very useful with her tips and answered every question we had.
her apartment is clean, comfortable, cozy and looks exactly like the pictures! :)
we went to the Tomorrow-land festival, and it was very comfortable to have a place to shower and sleep. but- i recommend her house for anyone who want to travel in Antwerp. her house is on the bus station that arrives to the center. and Generally the are of the apartment is really nice- green parks, restaurants, supermarket and more.
I was pleasantly surprised when I first entered the rooms of Larissa's appartment. For some reason I hadn't looked at the pictures on Airbnb in much detail and I navigated by intuition and other good reviews. Larissa's place is beautifully designed and very comfortable. One of the house rules is to only wear shoes in hallways and staircases which might strike as a little odd but once you see the beautiful wooden floors you won't want to wear your shoes anymore. The materials used are pure and honest, the beds are extremely comfortable and don't even get me started on the neighborhood. Classy would be the best way to describe it. Amazing parks, good restaurants, close to Antwerp center. I had no idea, just needed a place to stay. Larissa has been a wonderful host and I recommend staying with her and I hope that whenever myself or friends need a place she will have a room available.
About the Host, Larissa
I'm from Belgium and studied Arabic and Film Studies at the University of St Andrews.
I am addicted to travel, love photography and obviously, I'm a movie enthusiast.
I work in the film/TV industry so I work long hours and am very rarely home, though you might catch me on the weekends!
I really hope you enjoy the flat and your room(s) feels homely, but most importantly make the most of your time in Antwerp!
This is a supermarket that sells big brands at the cheapest available price. It is a bulk supermarket so the more you buy the less the items cost per piece.
Tasty asian fast food!
If you love antiques then you will LOVE the Kloosterstraat and adjoining streets.
most of the shops are open on sunday but they generally close for an hour or two at lunch time.
If you've got the money or just an expensive taste, head over to Schuttershofstraat for big name brands and, as of recently, La Durée Macaroons.
The entrance to this tiny street is next to "Popoff".
This street is how all the streets of Antwerp used to be like.
There is Sir Anthony van Dijk, one of the best fancy restaurants in Belgium
A beautiful church and square that most people forget to check out. It's peaceful there and all the adjoining streets are rather picturesque
This is an old warehouse. step inside and you will be amazed at how well preserved it is.
There is a tasty restaurant there.
