About This Listing
Welcome! Our new vacation rental awaits you in the beautiful Arroyo Grande hills. Great for a quiet couple's getaway or for an entire family to enjoy together.
This clean and quaint house is very private, with no neighbors adjacent to you, and is located on a 5-acre parcel with its own separate access (driveway).
The house is 1,200 sqft and offers 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, an open floor plan in the living, dining, and kitchen areas, AND an impeccably well-maintained hot tub!!
The large master bedroom has a king-sized bed and its own en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The second bedroom is also quite large and has one full-sized bed and a sturdy, wooden bunk bed with 2 twin beds. There is also a nice, clean futon in the living room that can be used as a bed.
The second bathroom is in the hallway with easy access from the rest of the house and the hot tub.
There is also a washer and dryer in the hall between the bedrooms.
Both bedrooms have their own TVs and there is a large flat screen TV in the living room. All TVs have satellite service and a DVR. The house is also equipped with DSL/WiFi.
In the private and peaceful backyard there is a clean, multi-jetted hot tub to relax in under the stars. You will probably hear owls at night.
The kitchen is open to the dining area through an open counter/bar area and has 2 bar stools so that you are festive at all times even when in the kitchen. The kitchen is well appointed with a dishwasher, microwave, electric stove and all the other expected amenities.
A propane bbq is located in the front yard so you can barbecue and watch the horseshoe game being played below! Also, this comfortable home has plenty of room by the driveway to park your boat or RV.
We are centrally located and only 3.5 miles from the village of Arroyo Grande with lots of fun shops, restaurants, and wine-tasting rooms. Don't forget the Arroyo Grande Farmer's Market every Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:30.
We are located 7 miles from 7 world-class wineries: Talley, Laetitia, Wolff, Tangent, Edna Valley, Chamisal, Tolosa, etc. Fun!
We are located only 6 miles from Lopez Lake and 6 miles from Pismo Beach. Lopez Lake has water slides for the kids and fishing and of course boating.
This house will give you no choice but to relax and recuperate.

Quiet after 10:00 is appreciated.
Richard and Christina's house was perfect for our stay in Arroyo Grande. There was plenty of room and the house felt private with nice scenery. We felt comfortable the entire stay and the jacuzzi was a perfect way to unwind. Check in/out was a breeze, would recommend to anyone.
As advertised, the house is nice and quiet. It is a short drive to downtown Arroyo Grande which has nice shops and restaurants. The house is spacious and well equipped. We didn't use the hot tub or the gas grill on the patio. The five of us were quite comfortable.
There's no cell service at the house, but there is WiFi available.
Lil Bits in nearby Grover City is great for breakfast. The homemade corned beef hash is good. At the Rooster Creek Tavern, try the chopped Ahi tuna I'm lettuce cups. With a longer drive to San Luis Obispo, we had some great pasta at La Loconda. Homemade pasta was wonderfully delicate as was the ravioli. My linguine vongole had more clams than are usually served.
Amazing stay! The place was exactly as described and was roomy and well-furnished. We had a group of 7 guys for the weekend and there were plenty of beds, towels, and kitchenware for all of us. The location was the best part; secluded, yet close to Arroyo Grande and downtown SLO and within 15 minutes of some awesome wineries. Fantastic house and great service. Thank you Richard and Christina!
I came here with a group of 8 to spend the weekend ATVing on Pismo Beach for my birthday. We all fit perfectly in this little country house and the hot tub in the back yard was an exceptional PLUS. We loved it here!
It was a wonderful place to stay. It is "secluded" and a get away from busy life. Great for a family to stay, as there are bunk beds in the second room, I always had fond memories of bunk beds on sleep overs when I was young. I would recommend it if you would like quiet with a rustic setting.
