Francesco was a great host and the flat was just as described. He was always available to answer questions and even helped us out when there was a museum strike and we needed to get some information that was only available in Italian. The flat is in a great neighbourhood, about 30 mins by bus to the centre of Rome. There are several supermarkets very close to the flat and there are plenty of restaurants and gelateria within a few mins walk.

Would highly recommend. We made this wonderful place our homebase as we explored Rome. Francesco was very helpful above and beyond from helping with arrangments before and during the stay, as well as highlighting amazing restauarants. We felt safe walking around apartment area in day and night. There are several buses right outside and nearby train station. Will stay here again if in Rome!

Francesco was an awesome host: always answering mails in the minute, he is very kind and available for his guests. He's putting a lot of effort in greeting his guest properly, meeting us at his place, handing maps of the area, and giving us a list of his own recommandations for restaurants, public transportation, etc. His place was like paradise in Rome. Kitchen is fully furnished, bathroom is clean and bed is very comfortable. Definitely the place to stay on your next visit in Rome!

Francesco has been great since the start, responding to each and every message and doing so promptly and was always very approachable so communication wise a full 5 stars to him!Perfect host! His apartment was very convenient to get to. Direct line from the airport around 30-odd minutes from Fiumicino airport to the Trastevere station, out of the station and a couple blocks ~10 minute walk to his apartment where francesco was gracefully waiting street side to greet us and help with our luggage. The apartment itself was great. We spent most day out 9am-10pm out each day but coming back felt very soothing and welcoming.spacious. 1 bedroom apartment, well equipped kitchen if you need to utilise it and an excellent bathroom with a good washing machine to do your holiday laundry. Bed not to mention was real, queen size and amazingly comfortable. Overall very neat, tidy and to a good hygienic standard. The only 2 points to note is that 1)it is a little out of the main centre so it takes a good 30 minutes to get into the city, we utilised the bus 170 which was right outside francesco's house daily to get into the city (direct bus to city which ends at termini) and occasionally used the modern electric tram number 8 to get into the city. 2)honestly felt that it might not be so safe if my wife was walking alone home from Trastevere station to this accommodation as they was a number of homeless people on the street at night and it was pretty quiet. Just need to always be vigilant and be cautious especially if you are a solo female traveller. Overall nonetheless it was an excellent accomodation option that we were lucky to have picked and not to mention francesco was an excellent host, always within reach by message/(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN)/Airbnb email.

Though i did not manage to meet Francesco in person, but he has made every necessary arrangements to make our check in and arriving smoothest possible. His gf has checked us in, explaining everything well. Apartment is clean with a nice scent. Well equipped with a lot of nice musics. Totally enjoyed my stay and is highly recommended!
