Although we didn't get the chance to meet Francesco in person, he made every effort (even before our arrival) to make sure that our check-in (through his friend) and our stay would be without any problem. The apartment has everything one would need for a pleasant stay in the city. We found the apartment very nice, tidy, and stylish! It is located in a non-touristic area of Rome with small shops, something we found very positive. The place can be reached easily using bus, metro and/or train from the center. Francesco was always available via text messaging to give us advice about the city, and he even kindly gave us instruction how to get to the apartment once that we were coming back from Napoli late after midnight. Overall, if you are looking to stay in a nice apartment a little bit away from all the tourist crowd in Rome, this is a place to highly consider.
We had a great stay here, Francesco sent us all the info we needed beforehand and was overall extremely helpful. He had even bought a bottle of wine for us that was waiting in the fridge.
A nice, clean place where we felt very comfortable. Only downside was that you have to take a tram into the city, as the walk is a bit too long.
Super friendly and helpful host! He made us feel welcome from the moment he waved us in from the balcony. It was a clean and cosy flat in a really local area. If you want to get away from the touristy areas this is definitely the place to stay in. The local coffee place and the supermarket are full of natives - no tourists. We really loved that.
However, I did not feel so comfortable when it got dark being out and about myself without my boyfriend. But we had dinner in which was super cosy. I would really recommend to stay here, and also, the bed was super comfy too.
Francesco had printed out a map and bought us beer, what else can one ask for? :) Thank you for the nice welcome, Francesco!
The host, Francesco was great! He was patient and very responsive. He gave us directions from the train station to his place more than once and walked us block by block on how to arrive. He answered all the questions we had.
The apartment was fantastic. It had everything you would need. It felt very home-y and was in a god location (near the train station and new the night life area, away from the super touristy areas but close enough to hop on a public bus to get to).
Overall, a great experience. I would definitely stay there again!
Francesco was a brilliant host from the moment we arrived. From the detailed instructions of how to reach his apartment from the airport to the maps he provided of the city to the recommendations of where to go out at night.
His apartment was lovely, clean and in a great location. We felt completely at home. I cannot recommend Francesco and his apartment more.
L'appartement était très bien, il est propre. Parfait pour 2 personnes. Francesco nous a très bien accueilli. Il situé près du quartier de Trastevere, sympa pour sortir le soir à Rome, très animé.
