Gracie mille Francesco for your kindness, your advice on places to go to and for your wonderful flat !
Everything was just perfect and made you really feel in a lovely home. Keep in touch if you come to London ! :)
Excellent and gracious host + warm and charming home.
Upon arriving in Rome, I didn't have much trouble finding Francesco's home. He and I were in constant communication even before my flight.
The location is a bus ride or a tram ride away from the city center and from there everything is walkable.
Once we got to his apartment, Francesco was preparing some coffee and even bought us breakfast. While enjoying the meal, Francesco gave us clear directions on how to go about the city. He pointed out the places to see and suggested restaurants to eat in. He also gave us maps to help navigate us around Rome.
The kitchen was well equipped and everything was organized. There's a hot water in the shower, he even provided towels and soap. In the bedroom is a nice comfortable bed to come home to after a long day of sightseeing.
There's nothing more I could ask for from my stay. 5 stars our of 5 on all categories
There are some people who rent out their apartments and some who wholeheartedly welcome you to their home! Francesco is truly a super host and took care of even the smallest of requirements. The apartment was squeaky clean, warm and absolutely fabulous. The neighbourhood was safe, lively and the Trastevere station was a 10 min walk away, bus stop was a minute away. Highly recommended to all who visit Rome. I hope I can visit again soon. Thanks Francesco!
Francesco is an easy and hospitable host. He was there to receive us and took the efforts to make us familiar with the house, the neighborhood, and Rome. The house is a cosy studio which is well maintained. Trastavere is a great neighborhood with the best night life in Rome.
I would recommend the restaurant right below the apartment called Retro which has absolutely fantastic food.
Just one word : perfect !!
DON'T HESITATE TO BOOK HERE!!
We spent an awesome stay at Francesco's place. We have been welcome with a good coffee and a bottle of wine.
The apt is clean, fully equipped and decorated with good taste. You immediately feel at home, it is easy to cook and you'll also find a selection of CDs/DVD/books at your disposal (good taste again). The wifi works well.
The apt is close to bus stop (1 min on walk) and to Trastevere station (10 mins on walk) so you won't have to do a long distance to reach Trastevere area (really nice place to eat and have drinks!!) and city centre (around 15min by bus/tram). The street downstairs is full of shops (clothes and food).
Francesco is a really nice and welcoming person, he gave us informations and many details before and even during our trip, you can easily reach him if you need something. Thanks again :)
Everything was great, Francesco's apartment is small but cute and with everything you need. We stayed for 2 weeks and felt very comfortable. Near the apartment is Pizzeria Blaserna, which has the best Pizza (take-away)! It's also just a short walk to Trastevere station from where you can take the tram to the City Centre. Wifi worked well. Thank you for a great stay, Francesco!
