Luxurious apartment located in Via Zuccelli, at just a few steps away form Fontana di Trevi and the Spanish Steps. This recently restored apartment is on the first floor of an ancient building. It is composed by a large living room with couches and a dining corner, a double bedroom with queen size bed, a double bedroom with 2 twin size beds a completely equipped modern kitchen, a bathroom with shower, a terrace with a table and chairs to eat outside. It is furnished with Hi-fi, a safe and a washing machine. Tall wooden ceilings, wooden hard floors in the bedrooms and ancient cotto pavements in the living room, great quality soft-furnishings, excellent antique furniture and numerous ancient art works complete this exceptional apartment in the heart of Rome’s historical centre.
Is highly recommended to book a transfer service from the airport to the apartment, because first of all, during the transfer, the driver will be in contact with the person in charge of the Check-in order to communicate the arrival time at the apartment avoiding problems due to delays or unforeseen.
And Also, the price of the comunal TAXI, was fixed by municipal law, so from the airport to the center of Rome is 48 euro (3 people), but many taxi drivers are also asking for an extra charge for luggage or overnight charge or extra fee for public holiday or the surcharge for each person more than 3..... so...the price will become much higher.
Therefore, to avoid any "discussions" with the taxi driver I recommend the "Private Taxi Transfert".

My computer crashed with the review on iso here it is again.
As I indicated before we went I found the failure of the host to provide helful advice most unwelcoming, particularly as I asked for local food shops.
As a result, it was only on day before we left that I discovered excellent food shops, including a fish monger and freshly made pasta shop a ten minute walk away in the Via della Croce, off the Spanish steps rather than the 20 minute bus ride and walk to the Campo da Fiori! I have a feeling that Luigi does not live in Rome so could not provide a welcome pack of information.
Plenty of good quality crockery, cutlery and towels.
Good location in the centre which once we had mastered the bus routes was very convenient. Again some guidance on that would have spared some anxious moments.
There was a good restaurant across the road where we went twice. An internet shop downstairs which was helpful.
The central heating was very efficient.
The taxi company reccommended by Luigi was excellent and we used them for the journey back to the airport.
Negative (website hidden).
There was only one very small frying pan, enough for one egg. This meant that on the three occassions when we cooked dinner we had to brown each piece of meat separately and then put them in the ovento finish cooking. When we put on the oven to do this and needed to use any other electrical appliance the electricity tripped so my granddaughter had to stand by the fuse box to turn it back on again. A very fraught cooking experience.
There weren't any casseroles or dishes to put in the oven so the only thing was a very large tray.
Health and safety would have a fit as electric cords were either very close to the taps or one had to watch that they didn't go near the gas hob when it was on.
Lighting in the kitchen was deficient as the overhead light did not work.
No place to hang anything in the second bedroom.
In the double bedroom there was an iron bedstead with two mattresses on top which were the wrong size so the top one overlapped by 15-20cms and needed to be hauled back every couple of days. Very difficult.
There were no shelves or towel rails in the bathroom so although there were two sinks there was no place to put makeup or even hair brushes which as the second bedroom didn't have a mirror or dressing table meant that all grooming had to be done in the bathroom.
Not the owner's fault but there is not much natural light which is rather gloomy and the street although narrow is v. noisy as it is a cut through for taxis.
