About This Listing
Occupying the entire second floor of a 19th century townhouse (approximately 850 sqft/80 meters indoors, another 250 sqft outdoors), our quiet and bright loft style apartment is ideal for a single or a couple who want to be in a very central location (5 to 8 minute walk to the 6, N, R, L, F Subway lines) but to avoid the hustle and bustle of Midtown Manhattan.
Unusually for New York, the apartment features a huge south facing private back deck (grill included) where you can spend some beautiful afternoons.
The apartment currently includes a flat screen TV, stereo, espresso machine (and coffee grinder), a newly renovated fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, induction range, electric kettle, an oven and a range hood, full bath recently renovated to include a rainfall style shower head, very high speed internet (up to 100mbps), air conditioning, central heating and hot water.
Note that in past reviews you'll see that people describe our cat - he has moved with us and is no longer in the apartment since May 2013.
Rent is inclusive of all utilities and fees.
As many people have asked - the rent is for the entire apartment for your own use.
One or two guests only, no children as we have no window guards and no way to install them.
Smoking only on the deck.
Don't party too hard.
Please leave the place clean and organized, if anything breaks please let us know, we promise to be civil about it.
Amazing location on a bustling street. Apartment looks as advertised. Great local information provided by the host and responsive to questions. Very pleasant stay!
Ori"s apartment is spacious, well equipped and the deck is an added bonus. The neighborhood is outstanding for food and entertainment and the subway if you want to get somewhere else.
Ori"s recommendations were all great. Abraco best coffee we had in the US. And the WiFi was the same.
Also check in and out and assistance from Lydia was very helpful.
The reservation was canceled 55 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
We felt like we were home as soon as we opened the door. All of the instructions about location, access and facilities were accurate. The apartment had a contemporary feel, and everything we needed was there. The rear balcony allowed us to enjoy outdoor space, and we loved the East Village neighbourhood.
The loft was beautiful, organized and clean. We found everything we needed!

About the Host, Ori
We are a professional couple in our 30s, based in New York. We own our own company that we can manage from anywhere in the world (provided there's good internet access), which allows us to travel extensively (and to rent out our own place via airbnb).
