About this listing
Comfortable 2-bedroom apartment (2 double beds, sleeps up to six people with a comfortable pull-out sofa in the living room, possibility of kiddie bed) in Rome south east side in a very trendy area. 5 minutes by bike to Cinecità, 20 minutes by bike to the centre. Supermarkets, restaurants and bars are only 50 yards away, as is public transport metro A porta Furba Quadraro which will take you to the city centre in 10 minutes if you do not feel like cycling ;-)
The neighborhood is child friendly, with a big park and playgarden nearby. It is a residential area, really close to everything, but far enough away to be very peaceful and relaxing. During the day it is nicely crowded whereas at night, you will not find yourself alone in the streets, but will not be bothered by noise from the bars which are far away enough to have a good sleep.
We love to give our guests all the information you need about the city, and have a lot of little restaurant and bars to recommend you. We live nearby and will be available throughout your stay for anything.

Price: The price we paid for staying 7 days in Rome (especially around new years eve) was cheap. You probably won't find a cheaper way to stay in the capital of Italy than renting an apartment, and Fabio got really competitive prices
Location: Not directly in the city center. From the apartment it's about an 5-10 minutes walk to a supermarket and to the metro, from which it is another 10-15 min ride to the main sights of Rome. At the end of the street of the apartment is a nice and cheap Italian restaurant.
Apartment: There are some minor negative points about the apartment, but you can't expect a 4-star hotel room for that price. The network is rather slow and not everything is working as expected, but in general nothing really important is missing. The kitchen is equipped with a colorful mixture of plates, pan's etc. , there are herbs, oil and everything you need to cook. The bathroom is pretty big, but the shower does not have a curtain and the boiler does not store enough water to take 5 showers in a row, but that's not a problem if you wait a little bit.
Owner: Fabio is a nice and friendly guy, he gave us some information on arrival and showed up several times and asked if everything is alright. Also, for little money he transfered us from airport to apartment and back to airport by himself, which was really helpful.
In general, we can recommend taking this cheap and friendly opportunity to stay in a wonderful city.
We booked a room in the last minutes before coming to rome and it was nice that Fabio managed to accept us. Stay was ok but the room and appartment doesn't look like on pictures, is much worst.
Fabio est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport et nous a réservé un bel accueil. L'appartement est bien, le quartier est calme; métro, supérette et restaurants à proximité.
The host was not there to welcome us, so it was other guests who opened us. We had a little trouble finding the street, even if the host gave us indications by message. We thought that we were not in the good appartment because this one doesnt look like the pictures at all ! The only thing that we can recognise is maybe the window... Thanks Photoshop !
Anyway, just for one night it was quite useful and efficient, the shower was good, everything is ok, but i think the host is a little bit too much commercial, he is like a hostel director, and not really like an airbnb host... We were a little disapointed. So i don't recommend it, because of the bad quality and the expensive price with it.
Hi Aurelie I was not there cos I was waiting for you at the metro stop, for this reason I arrived a bit late. You stayed just one night in the apt doesn't seem to you a bit too short to give a bad idea of one person, in one day I found the electricity plug out of their place and I try to propose to leave the luggage there when you will go to the centre and come back to pick all your stuff at 13, sincerely for one night seems not fair. May be if you had chosen one another room you could save no more then 2 euro.
Those rooms are really perfect for visiting Rome, located in quiet place and not far from center, fully equipped and kind host. We had a great time staying in his house.
Great location. Fabio was very welcoming. The rooms are much smaller than the listing shows. WiFi was having a bad connection . The door to room didn't close properly.
This is a great place to stay if you are on a budget and still want comfort and ease while visiting Rome. Fabio was very understanding of our situation when we arrived ( we had had an overnight flight at midnight and arrived at his around 9 am with no sleep) he let us settle in and rest before later explaining everything. He is very easy to contact and will answer your questions. The location is great and his past reviews and listing description was very accurate. The area is very safe and great for tourists as it is a 8 minute walk to metro line are which has all the city cites. We felt safe still as young women walking back from the metro in the early hours of the morning after a fun night out. Don't hesitate to stay here!! Book it because you won't regret it! Ciao Fabio, thanks for everything.
