Level 1 EV charging is available on premises. Guests must bring their own charge cord to reach the power box.

🐾 Pet Policy

🔊 Views + Neighborhood Sound
The Treehouse sits on a ridge overlooking the Etowah Valley with winter-only views. Light vehicle traffic from the mountain access road below may be heard during the day and early morning hours.

❄️ Winter Weather
The mountain roads accessing Edenwood are among the last to be plowed during significant snow or ice events. Severe winter weather can make roads temporarily impassable for several days. We strongly recommend guests traveling in winter months review the cancellation policy carefully and consider travel insurance for added peace of mind.

Where I went to school: University of Tennessee, Knoxville
My work: I spent 19 years in the marketplace in both finance and human resources roles. In a pandemic pivot, I left the marketplace in 2021 to use my gifts of hospitality and professionalism to serve the guests of Edenwood NC.
Edenwood's two unique and private properties were created for you the guest with an understanding of the toll the daily grind of life takes on your body and mind. Hectic mornings. Overloaded schedules. Late nights. Endless email. Bottomless laundry. The Barn at Edenwood and The Treehouse at Edenwood are intentionally prepared spaces, in a tucked-away mountain setting, designed and built specifically to promote experiential connection for two people. After 19 years in the marketplace and logging thousands of miles of business travel, as your host, I’ve reflected much on what distinguishes an overnight stay from a getaway experience. My goal as your host is to prepare the property in such a way that it nurtures a rejuvenating guest experience so that you can return to your home and places of work with a sense of who you are and what you were made to do. I personally own, prepare, and manage The Barn and The Treehouse and don't rely on third-party outsourcing or property management companies in order to provide you personalized and high-quality experience.
