Monica was a great host, as my friend & I didn't have an italian phone number we corresponded via email and I always received a prompt reply to any questions we had. Chris was their to greet us and explain how the keys worked.
The apartment was beautiful and just as it appears in the photos, it was comfortable for two people. We could've easily fit one or two more people on the sofa couch.
The bathroom was spacious and clean and we made use of the towels provided.
The kitchen was equipped with basic utensils & pots and there were even two croissants, milk, salt, sugar and tea for us to use.
There is a small shop on the same street, towards the metro stop where you can pick up general items you might need.
The apartment is located a short walk from the Ottaviano Metro Stop, the vatican city & bus stops which made it easy for us to make our way around.
*I would note that our regular two-pronged plugs didn't seem to fit into any of the sockets on the wall. Luckily there was a three pronged adaptor in the bathroom drawer for the hair dryer that we shared to charge our laptops/phones/camera during our stay.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay at Monica's place and we gladly book with her again!
Good location, close to the Vatican, and very close to a metro stop. The apartment has a lot of character and I had no issues with it.
A neighbor greeted us and took the keys when we left but the host was accessible via phone when I needed to reach her upon arrival.
Todo muy bien!! Excelente ubicación, y muy lindo el departamento, todo muy limpio y prolijo!! 10 puntos
A very beautiful apartment. I was extremely thankful for the air conditioning in the intense summer heat. Walking distance to Vatican city and a ton of shopping and great places to eat. Thank you!
We truly had a perfect stay at this apartment! I was worried about arranging to get into the apartment, but our host accommodated our early arrival and we were handed the keys right away with ease. It is so charming inside! The pictures don't do it justice and we felt like we were living in an old Audrey Hepburn movie. It is perfectly situated in walking distance (up to 15-20 minutes) from most major monuments but in a quieter, more peaceful neighborhood close to the Vatican. We managed to walk everywhere we needed to go (as far as the Colloseum) though I know there is a Metro stop nearby. There is also a convenient airport and train station SIT shuttle bus stop about 5 blocks away. We didn't have a chance to use the kitchen over our short stay but it was well-equipped and very nice looking. There were even some guidebooks, language books and maps there which we found very helpful. For a beautiful apartment in a charming neighborhood right in the middle of Rome we thought this was a great deal! Thanks for opening it up to us Monica! We had a lovely time.
Amazing place and amazing location! We had a great time here - the place is adorable, very nice, and very clean. Host even had 2014 guide book for Rome available which we borrowed (and was very handy!). We would come back in a heart beat.
What a lovely flat! Excellent location and the Monica's welcoming was great. I definetively recommend it :-)
The flat was conveniently located near the Vatican and the Metro. Monica & co. were very hospitable and made the experience great.
Thank you Monica! Ciao!
Although we did not meet Monica she was very receptive to our queries via the telephone. Her delightful neighbour let us into the apt and was very helpful. We had a fabulous time in Rome and loved the apt. It was clean, cosy and we really felt at home. The location was amazing, close to the Vatican but also near shops, restaurants and public transportation. We would defiantly stay again.
