The circus car by Roncalli&Co., which has been lovingly maintained and preserved for 100 years, invites lovers of the golden tweenties to breathe circus air and get inspiration in our sleep. At the house in the flower, in the heart of Germany, and yet at the end of the world in our cul-de-sac right on the edge of the forest. In the adjacent wild garden are sofas and swings. More guest rooms and another Muckelwagen available. 2 e-bikes are available for rent. Welcome

The space
In our cul-de-sac "Blume" in Ziegenhagen near Witzenhausen, our historic circus trailer is right by the creek. So close you will be accompanied by the steady babbling of the creek.

The wagon is a real rarity! The company Mack has always been known for its quality construction in the Schausteller area. This is a wagon from 1920. The former owner bought it as a 16-year-old, putting the founding of his successful business track with tents and carts and others in the showcase area.

Our car was always treated very carefully and rented as a "historic circus trailer" for events and the like. For many years he was, for example, the office garage of the Tollwood Festival in Munich. But Kanzler Kohl was also probably inside and smelled golden tweenie's air. Only 2 of its kind exist, one stands in the covered entrance area of the Europapark (and stairs on the outside of the windows allow you to have a look inside) and another has been sold to Luxembourg.

Ours is now very idyllically located on the edge of the creek and offers a very special vacation. Every time I go in, I have no other word than "It's a miracle!" But come and feel for yourself!

In the adjacent large, nature-filled garden with a further stream and a small pond, there are various places to stay with swings, hammocks, sofas or covered gazebo. Long searched, here's the thing: Digital detox is included. We live here happy in the funk hole! However, a stable Wi-Fi is available in the car.

The fire salamanders, but also dairy, frogs and toads have their kingdom here and at night it is good to always walk with a torch so you don't possibly step on them.

In the circus trailer is also a historic 2x 1.40 bed. But the 14 square meters are also well-stocked with tables, sofa and cozy armchairs, kitchenette and small work table.

We are a small community and have (often) regular food at 14:00. We are happy to cook for €12 per person. Just let us know ahead of time!

Where you’ll be

Witzenhausen, Hessen, Germany

Ziegenhagen is a district of Witzenhausen and is located between Kassel and Göttingen in the middle of Germany. Directly with us, the Kaufungen forest begins to hike deep into the 15 km deep.
The many springs and streams are striking with us. A small swimming lake is 7 minutes away by car, 2 larger, very nice1, 30 minutes drive.

Due to its first federal German university for ecological agriculture, Witzenhausen has attracted many alternative people who have stayed in the region. Witzenhausen is a cherry city, Transition Town and we, too, have attracted the fertile nature with the rolling hills and the strikingly forward-thinking people who live here.

The Parimal, Gut Hübenthal, is about 8 km away, as a meditation center, has also brought many alternative people to our region. For example, Ziegenhagen is now a well-behaved village of many committed newcomers and also open-minded old residents.

The "Sustainable Goat Hills" AG, for example, now encompasses more than 20 projects from the shared "Dorfgarten", to a "village newspaper" to the shared "getting old in the countryside."

In the surroundings of the Kaufungen Forest, various spas, Berlepsch Castle, Ludwigstein Castle, Sababurg Castle and Hann Münden: My favorite town, it invites you to marvel at as a medieval very well-preserved city with its many, small alleys and the sloping cottages.

To emphasize is always the incredibly beautiful, gently hilly nature with its many, many creeks and fruit trees, as well as the Hohe Meißner and thus our "Frau Holle Land" with the myth-covered Holle Pond, Holle Stein and Holle Cave. All the old places of worship of the great goddess in the form of the "Mrs. Holle." Discovered here as a fairytale by the Grimm brothers.

I have lived and created in Ziegenhagen since 2003. As initiator of the "Haus in der Blume," in 2018 I was able to purchase the former guesthouse with the nearby 3200 square meter wild garden in the flower. Me and my friend Imad are always happy if you prefer to attract this place here: individual nature-loving individualists, quiet refreshments, newly created thinkers and seekers and seekers and finders, the living and peaceful people who open up culturally creatively and heartily live and let others live. People recharge their batteries here, and there's a lot of inspiration. This is where source energy flows! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
