Welcome to the stylish Vintage Room!
This room has been recently renovated in early 1900's era furniture in honor of the buildings vintage history. This room is simple and very sunny with soft colors and curtains that can block out the sun for late sleepers zzzzzz.. Now more about our lovely building and neighborhood
Our new space has three private and unique guest rooms. Our building has a VERY interesting history and was built as a hotel in 1904. Some of it's redeeming features are comfortable rooms with lovely wood floors and wainscotting down the hallways. Restored with antiques and featuring a nice full amenity kitchen , AMAZING large bathroom with gargantuan shower (think mexican tiled heaven with 6 shower heads ) that is shared only with the other air bandb rooms.
Our new space is surrounded by art and creative studios with our resident Jack Russell occasionally coming around with your host to say hello. Dog is kept out of the guest rooms unless asked in so note that they are very clean but probably not for those highly allergic to dogs/ not allergy free. You will have full access to kitchen, bathroom and wifi. Your room is your own private sunny space. Although your room is private you share the building with the owner and her own art studio and artists from diverse back grounds who are very respectful of all guests. This space is lovely and fairly quiet most of the time (quiet hours between 10pm and 8am) but it is in a hopping part of town some noise happens here occasionally, please if you need absolute silence to sleep this may not be the place for you. So don't expect crickets singing as this is NOT a suburban area, it is an industrial Arts district. This is a tidy but eclectic space and it is a creative oasis that is easily accessible to and from downtown Seattle and the airport., The neighborhood is the Industrial Arts District and lots of fun shops and coffee shops within feet of our door.We also have the Star Brass bar downstairs from us so you can have a drink at our swanky bar, get your hair cut at Spectrum House Salon or buy a delicious coffee at The Atelier Coffee company (opening soon). We welcome you to our newly reinvigorated building. Also from the guest rooms you have easy access to many tourist attractions via bus, bicycle (loaner bikes coming soon) all major transportation goes directly in front of our building that goes to downtown Seattle. Please feel free to purchase food and use kitchen at your leisure. Coffee/tea/ in the morning if you desire. Host will provide all linens, towels, hair dryer, curling irons etc. If you have a special request please feel free to ask, we probably have it....we have everything :).
We no longer have laundry service available. Sorry
**Breakfast is light and left in our kitchen for you. This is continental style croissant/ bagel with cream cheese ,fruit and coffee or tea
Sorry NO MORE DOGS - only certified service dogs with paperwork as we have one service dog and two sweet dogs that visit occasionally and I do not want them harmed. Thank you.
This building is lovely and is 112+ years old so please be respectful of her and she will provide you with a sweet oasis from the bustling city. We enjoy making your stay comfortable. Animal friendly Children are welcome to come with you with pre approval and $150 damage deposit. You will have lots of fun but if you do not want a fun cultural experience then you probably want to stay in a vanilla flavored hotel and not here in our Neopolitan flavored art heaven. Many guests have enjoyed their stay in Georgetown with us ,as you can see from the reviews . We will try to help you get around and be comfortable in your stay. Upon arrival you will be provided with an amazing map of Georgetown to acclimate to your new surroundings. Enjoy and we look forward to hosting and meeting you in 2014
24 / 7 access to building, bathroom and kitchen

The bus number 106 and 124 are right across the street, our parking lot is free for those with a car. and you can often find little car to gos ( rental cars) in front of our building but you have to sign up for them before hand.

The listing description was accurate. It was a beautiful space in a great neighborhood and was perfect for our needs. Angielina was super friendly and helpful.
Angielena was very accommodating. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable.
It was a quite interesting stay since the building has a unique structure and are full of artists. Although it has many rooms like 20, the place was very quiet all day. Airplanes might be a bit of disturbance to a light sleeper during the night, but in general it's a very nice place to stay. People were gentle and respect one another. The shared kitchen was right next to my room and easily accessed, and the newly renovated bathroom was a state of art. The very pretty host, Angielena was welcoming and gave a lot of details about the area and tips around there in a warm and kind manner. I really appreciate it. Thank you!
La chambre d'Angielena est parfaite, Georgetown est un quartier très sympa, agréable a vivre et atypique !!
Rien a redire, notre séjour fut très agréable et l'accueil très chaleureux !!
First I have to say a big thank you to Angielena! She's been amazing and helped us on all fronts when we needed some help and gave us all the information we could have asked for! Big up! Her rooms are also lovely, very special surrounding with the art studios! The shared balcony was a great place to sit in the sun and relax or enjoy the view on the probably hippest spot in town! There are direct busses to downtown and capital hill leaving pretty much at the front door! But Georgtown is so cool, who wants to leave it anyway!? Thanks again to Angielena and her artists for having us! We'll be back!
My boyfriend and I had stayed at the vintage room for 3night. we loved to stay there and felt very comfortable. people in there were kind, and Angielena gave us explanation and suggestions of neighborhood when we arrived. she is a nice person and willing to help guests. the place is artistic and there are a lot of fun. we were happy to be there and had a sweet time in Georgetown. thank you so much Angielena
My host Angielena was incredibly welcoming and very amenable to my arrival schedule.I immediately felt like I have made a friend and I am excited for her to visit my hometown. She gave me maps and guides for all the different Seattle neighborhoods and also, most interesting to me, a history of the building and the area of Georgetown/(email hidden)is neighborhood was fascinating to (website hidden) is the oldest neighborhood in Seattle and it was exciting to still feel that frontier energy.Artists, musicians, creative people and working class make up this neighborhood. As an artist,I felt right at home and met many people at the various restaurants and (website hidden) is a very friendly area. The building itself was a former rooming house and brothel, so the layout is perfect for Airbnb guests. The bathrooms were numerous and all the plumbing was updated and able to handle the building's multiple (website hidden) was very clean and I appreciated the addition of soaps and shampoos and other free -for everyone to use -products,since I had managed to forget a few items. The bathrobe was a lovely touch. The room was quiet, clean and the bed incredibly comfortable.Other lovely perks, the back balcony with the outdoor curtains and tables and chairs was the perfect place to watch the sun go down. The bar below was super friendly and the noise did not affect my room. The bus line downtown is directly across the street.Everything was convenient.I will stay here again and again!

I am a visual artist who is the director of a Non profit community Arts and Cultural Center. The guests room are located in the Centers lovely 1904 building. I have been doing the renovations myself and I think you will enjoy my handy work. I enjoy animals, art and people.. . I am an easy going person but don't let people get away with much if they are behaving badly.. NO SMOKING IN BUILDING / NO VAPING/ NO POT …you can do all these things in our Smoking area outside. I am easily accessible if you need anything, I am happy to oblige most requests but I try to take Sundays off. I am also happy to help you plan a fun day here in Seattle. I even have a lonely planet guide to Seattle if you want to borrow it. Late arrivals (after 10 pm) should be managed before hand and also host requires chocolate or wine for late arrivals...after all if a girl cant get her beauty sleep at least she can have a glass of wine right?
Also no arrivals after midnight unless it is an international flight that has gone horribly wrong. Ill try to accomodate you no matter what but again, lets communicate before your arrival.
