I loved my stay at Arseny's in Hoboken. Great location, walking distance from the PATH train and NJ Transit. The apartment was very nice, quaint. Made you feel like you were staying at home. Highly recommended!

Problems with cleanliness and pests. Host was responsive and had cleaning service remove the shower curtain that had black mold on it and was causing strong odor in bathroom, but it was not enough. Refrigerator had old fried chicken and other stains in it. Pest problems, and mat…

Response from Arseny:
Hi Ido we really hope the extra cleaning made the place as you expected. Some notes on your review: We prompted replaced the curtain, the mold you described is from soap and a common problem on the east coast. We try to change it regularly, guess it was time! Regarding food in the fridge: this is a real apartment and the food other guests leave is yours to enjoy. In this case the chicken you found was unopened. Our cleaning team does not throw out unopened food and especially beer. We cleaned the fridge twice as you requested. Not sure what you meant by pests and stains. Finally we try to be as transparent as possible in the listing: this is a historic building (aka old, small) the bed is described as a "Full Size," likewise the rules provided by airbnb explain that the fridge and kitchen in general is not like in a hotel suite. It's the kitchen I and other airbnb guests use. While I never write critical reviews I owe it to the Airbnb community to point out that if you're looking for a hotel experience look for that in the price and in the listing description. Enjoy your travels!

Beyond the amazing location (quick walk to the trains and easy access to restaurants, parks, and adorable coffee and tea shops), hospitality of the hosts (lightning-fast communicators), and ease of access once you get there, what stood out most about Arseny’s place is how much it…

The apartment has great location. It's not so far from New York. It takes less than an hour to get to almost anywhere in Manhattan. Hoboken is nice and calm place. There are few shops located nearby. A train station to New York is 10-15 minutes by foot. The apartment matches pro…

Hi! I'm a New Yorker in my late 20s. I like to travel, to meet people, to try new foods and to learn about other cultures. I speak English, Russian, French and can figure things out in German and Spanish. I am an easygoing and responsible person.
