Interaction with guests

You'll get to meet 3 other housemates who are young professionals from different cultures and backgrounds. This apartment is ideal for longer-term guests with a regular routine (e.g. employment, internship, classes, etc.)
The neighborhood is safe, diverse, and full of culture. It is getting more vibrant than ever, yet still remaining relatively calm. You get a very genuine everyday-life-in-New-York feeling, which I think is awesome. However, if you are not comfortable being around people of other races and cultures, you might not get to enjoy what this great neighborhood has to offer.
With in a few blocks there are many really cute cafe, restaurants and bars. Bedford avenue is kind of the main stretch, where you will find some really great spots. Essentials like laundromat, supermarket, 24 hr deli are also very near by. Please see my guidebook for local favorites.
With the A/C,G trains all within a few blocks, you can get to most places very easily and quickly. The A line is 4 stops away from downtown Manhattan, and it takes you to Tribeca, Greenwich Village, Meatpacking District, Chelsea and Time Square all in under 30 min. The G line takes you the ultra hip Williamsburg in 10-15 minutes.
From our apartment it takes 5-8 minutes to walk to the A/C subway, and 3-5 minutes to walk to the G subway. We also have many local buses. I would of course be very happy to tell you more in detail once you are here.

Hello!! I'm an apparel designer based in New York City. I grew up in 4 different countries, and I have been calling the city home for a few years. I have shared apartments with others since I was 16, and I believe I'm a very responsible, mature and easygoing person to live with.
I'm very interested in different cultures, languages and cuisine. I speak English, Chinese and Italian fluently, and at the moment I'm working on my French and Spanish.
I travel light and spontaneous. I rarely do research prior to my trip. I just follow a cute dog, or a cute human, and get lost in the allies. It's worked out quite well so far.
Please feel free to ask me any questions you might have :)
