Light-filled one bedroom apartment with equal access to urban excitement, Golden Gate Park, beautiful beaches, and across the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin.
Bedroom has very comfortable queen sized bed. The sofa is a hide-a-bed but (honestly) it is not large and I would only recommend for a small person.
Living room has a sofa and computer for watching movies. Kitchen table seats four. All the rooms have large south-facing windows and even the bathroom has a skylight. Yes, the bathroom is pink. :) There is also a full tub for soaking after long days of SF exploring!
It's completely furnished with everything you need. Internet, full bath, and a fully equipped kitchen.
The apartment itself is on a quiet residential street, but a block away is the famous Clement street. It's home to world-class Chinese, Japanese, Burmese, and Italian restaurants. Cozy cafes, bookstores, and boutique shops: Burma Superstar, Eats, Q, The Blue Danube, Cinderella Bakery, and the Green Apple Bookshop, to name a few.
Golden Gate Park is a few blocks south, near The Conservatory of Flowers, De Young museum, Japanese Tea Garden, and California Academy of Sciences
A laundromat and several grocery stores are within walking distance.
My apartment is one block from 38L bus (Japantown, Union Square, BART, Downtown) and 33 bus (Haight, Castro, & Mission)

I met Stan through a friend of a friend of a friend while he was travelling through Boulder earlier this year (2012). We have since become fast friends ourselves, and he is always welcome in my home. As a guest, Stan goes above and beyond by being courteous, respectful and above all just an awesome person to meander around town with.
I can't say enough good things about Stan, his calm presence and magnetic positivity, and I look forward to hosting or being hosted by him soon!
