The space
Tucked at the end of a quiet residential street, The Cottage at Silver Water is a modern waterfront escape where Scandinavian design meets quiet luxury. With 10-foot ceilings, a thoughtfully curated interior, and a half-acre setting on the Chesapeake, the home offers sweeping bay views from every room.

Inside, every detail is elevated by some of the country’s most coveted brands—Brooklinen, Bodum, Vitruvi, ROAM, Lafco, RH, Eames, Article, Joybird, Williams Sonoma Home, Evermill, Fellow, Sonos, West Elm, and more—surrounding you with beauty and comfort at every turn.

Outdoors, the experience continues: an expansive lawn, inviting fire pit, sleek sling loungers, private bluestone patio, hot tub, kayak launch, and lush gardens await.

The home is spread across two floors. The ground level features the Green Bedroom with a walk-in closet, a full bath, laundry, and the main living area. A covered patio extends from the living room, furnished with teak sofas and a cocktail table.

Upstairs, the Blue Bedroom offers a private covered balcony, an en-suite bath, and a generous walk-in closet. The third bedroom/office includes a marble-topped desk and a twin daybed—perfect for children or quiet work.

Wherever you are, the view is unforgettable—broad water vistas that shift with the light, bringing the Chesapeake right to your doorstep.

Guest access
Free parking is available in the driveway. There is no garage access. Parking is limited to three vehicles. The house’s front door is through the metal slotted gate (push) and follow the cobblestone path.

Other things to note
This house is ideal for 1-2 couples or a family. There are 2 main bedrooms as well as an office/bedroom off the second floor bedroom. The 3rd space doesn’t have a true bed, but a day bed. Additionally, there is only one (en-suite) bathroom on the second floor.

Commercial endeavors and weddings: please send a request for the dates that you desire and we will discuss the details. Due to the lack of parking and other constraints, accommodations will need to be made, but an event fee will be assigned.
