A cozy apartment in cool and central located area of Berlin/Kreuzberg. Two rooms, a sunny balcony, a fully equipped kitchen and a secure and gated parking. Subway, supermarket, cafes and a beautiful park are very close to the house.
2 rooms in a 60 qm nicly furnished and new renovated apartment with a kitchen, a sunny balcony and a new bathroom. There is enough space and mattresses for up to 5 persons. It's on the 4th floor with elevator.
One room has a double bed (160x200 cm), the other room has a single bed, a sleeping couch and large couch and a table with five chairs. There is cable-TV, a CD-player/radio and fast WiFi Internet-access. Sheets and towels are included. You find enough place to park your car safe behind a gate. A washing machine and a dryer are in the house.
The apartment is opposite a nice outdoor swimming pool and it is very close to the Landwehr-Canal with beautiful ways to walk along or to relax in the sun. Not far away you will find little gallery's, very good restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs, museums and interesting stores. Kreuzberg is the subcultural and alternative middle of Berlin. From the apartment a lot of things are perfect to do by bike. If you like I can help to rent bikes so you can enjoy the city on two wheels.
The apartment has a nice view which gives a good feeling. A supermarket is very close and If you follow the canal, you find a big turkish market with clothes, fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and everything you need including live music.
The apartment is very close to the U1 line station Prinzenstrasse. So it doesn't take you long to get anywhere in town, from Prenzlauer Berg, to Friedrichshain, to Kurfürstendamm or to Mitte. I hope you will enjoy the city and the apartment.
Fast WiFi and cable TV.
Towels and sheets.
Gated and safe parking.
Washing machine and dryer if you ask me, because other people in the house are using the washing machine, too and I have to give you a key.
Interaction with Guests
For questions, I am available at any time. During the stay, but I'm not in the apartment.
Kreuzberg is the geographical center of Berlin. The district is famous for its unusual mix. There are many cafes and good restaurants and bars and also music, art, cinema, theater, clubs, markets and even nice walking paths.
U-Bahn station Prinzenstrasse is very close
Other Things to Note
Unfortunately, there is a new accommodation tax of 5% in Berlin and this is paid with the cleaning fees
- Please smoke only on the balcony and no loud parties.
- When you use the lift please make sure, you close the inside doors.
- If you want to use the washing machine, I have to get a key for the washing/dryer room and that usually takes 1-2 days.
What a great stay in a perfect situation, very close to a supermarket and the U1 Station ( very handy for getting anywhere in Berlin ). The flat was as described and had everything you need for a great stay. Lovely views across to an outside swimming park. Betty was very quick at replying to emails etc and met us at the station on our arrival. There is plenty of maps/guide books for Berlin in the flat. We stayed on a snowy week in February returning after our trips out to a nice warm and cozy apartment. Recommended trips out go to lake Wansee and take the F10 ferry to Kladow ( all part of your berlin welcome card for bus/trams etc ) visit the old Templehof Airport and walk around the old runways and buildings, Local bars and restaurants near the flat Parker Bowles ( prinzenstrasse ) Max und Moritz (Orienstrasse), Mano ( Near Gorlitzer U station ) Bierkombinat Kreuzberg Manteuffelstrasse 53,
Indoor market (like a small version of Borough market ) Weltrestaurant Markthalle Pücklerstraße full of eateries / market stalls and a Berlin Craft Brewery. There's so much to see in Berlin a return trip to Betty's will be on the cards.
Betty was the absolute best! She was very responsive and helpful - we arrived late at night and she greeted us at our cab. The apartment was spacious and clean and in a great location!
Betty war sehr verbindlich und hat uns über ihre Freundin wunderbar empfangen. Die Wohnung ist fein und zentral gelegen. Für uns wurde gut gesorgt.
Betty met us at checkin, and answered our questions about neighborhood resources. She also provided helpful maps, books, and her own notes in the apartment. Using the washing machine was easy, because she showed me how. The apartment was well equipped and super clean. It is very near the U Bahn station, but also near the canal which is a pleasant place for strolling or jogging. Yes, the bedroom is quiet. We would stay there again.
